Background
Background
Bilbo Baggins is a the main protagonist of The Hobbit and a secondary character in The Lord of the Rings. He is a Hobbit who lived in The Shire during the last years of the Third Age. He is most notable for being a key member of Thorin Oakenshield's company in the Quest of Erebor, as well as becoming one of the bearers of The One Ring of Sauron.
The Legend of Dragoon is a series produced by the game development company, Japan Studio, and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. The series first launched in 1999 on the PlayStation, and later in 2000 had its first Chapter adapted into a manga drawn by Ataru Cagiva and published by Enterbrain.

After assisting the company of Dwarves reclaim their home from Smaug, Bilbo returned to the Shire, and unknowingly carried along with him The One Ring that he'd stolen from Gollum. He later adopted his distant younger cousin, Frodo Baggins, and as per the request of Gandalf, relinquished the One Ring to him. As his age began to catch up to him, he retired to Rivendell to live with the Elves and write his books in peace.

*Soa the Creator: The beginning of the world was a blackness, an absolute nothingness. Soa, over the course of Seven Generations, created everything out of the chaos. Once he was done, he sowed a seed to the earth, which grew and became known as the Divine Tree. Once the Divine Tree was finished bearing fruit, everything created by Soa was to be destroyed and then reborn anew.

Statistics
*The Divine Tree: The ultimate creation of Soa, once simply being a small seed planted into the soil of the Endiness continent. Once the tree grew, it began to bear 108 different fruits, which ripened and fell to the ground, birthing the life and species of the world. This tree is specifically designed for bringing life to the world, before it's final fruit would bring the world to an end.
Tier: 10-C, Higher with Sting
**Dragon: The 105th species born of the Divine Tree, which are large scaled and winged creatures of insurmountable power, who each have their own elemental designations. They are the enemies of the Winglies, the war between the two resulting in Dragons majorly disappearing from Endiness.
**Human: The 106th species born of the Divine Tree, which appear as the common man. Eleven thousand years following the war between Humans, Dragons, and Winglies, this species is the only one to have remained. They have no special power, but are responsible for building up civilization as we know it.
**Wingly: The 107th species born of the Divine Tree, which appear similar to Humans but with their own unique differences. They are far more technologically advanced, able to travel via teleportation devices and energy wings that protrude from their backs. Winglies have a superiority complex, and sought to put an end to Dragons and Humans as a sort of cleansing, but were defeated.
**God of Destruction: The 108th species born of the Divine Tree, the one set to bring an end to Soa's creation of the world. Once the Moon Objects are gathered and taken to the Moon That Never Sets by the Moon Child, the God of Destruction's soul will finally reveal itself and use the Moon Child's body as its host. With that completed, the world would finally be destroyed.

Name: Bilbo Baggins, Bilba Labingi (his Hobbitish name)
*Moon Child: A person born into Endiness every 108 years, who represents the 108th Fruit of the Divine Tree. The Moon Child was destined to gather the three Moon Objects, which would then use to seemingly "bless the world and create a utopia." In reality, gathering the Moon Objects and travelling to the Moon That Never Sets would bring an end to everything, allowing for Soa to recreate it all as per the fate he dictated for his creation.

Origin: Tolkien's Legendarium
*Moon That Never Sets: Hanging high up in the sky, eerily watching over the world at all times, is this Moon. Although seemingly being a simple celestial body, it is actually a living organism with a terrain that is ever-changing. When the God of Destruction was first discovered by the Wingly species, they separated its soul from its body, with the body becoming the Moon That Never Sets. The God of Destruction's soul now desires a new body, to bring end to the world.

Sex: Male
*Black Monster: A figure shrouded in a mysterious black aura, who only shows itself every 108 years. It's main goal is to kill the Moon Child, along with everyone who bore witness to the Black Monster themselves. Infamously, the Black Monster was responsible for burning down the town of Neet and killing Dart Feld's parents, leading to his quest for revenge. The identity of the Black Monster is later revealed to be Rose, who, despite her seemingly evil deeds, was in fact given this quest in order to prevent the God of Destruction from destroying the world.

Age: 50 - 51 years old (The Hobbit), 111 - 131 years old (The Lord of the Rings)
*Dragoon: Also known as the Knight of the Dragon, Dragoons are those chosen by fate to rule over Dragons. Any of Soa's 108 species is capable of becoming a Dragoon (aside from Dragons themselves), as they are essentially regular creatures empowered by the soul of a Dragon. When someone comes into contact with, and is chosen by, a Dragoon Spirit, they are able to transform into a Dragoon and gain power far beyond any normal man. Each playable character is a Dragoon representing a different element.

Classification: Hobbit, Ring-Bearer, Master Burglar (by Gandalf), Child of the Kindly West (by Thorin Oakenshield), Elf-friend (by Thranduil), Thief (by Gollum and Smaug)
Power of the Verse
The verse has characters around Wall level with FTL reaction speeds during the first three Chapters, though those who wield Dragoon Spirits can reach up to Small Building level. In the final Chapter, characters get up to City level. The top tiers, namely Divine Dragoon Dart, Melbu Frahma, and Soa, get Supercluster level.

This verse’s general hax include Elemental Manipulation, Magic, Animal Manipulation, Empathic Manipulation, Non-Physical Interaction, and Fate Manipulation.

Alignment: Neutral Good (Bilbo is a well-mannered Hobbit who deeply cares about a great many things. Though he can seem somewhat selfish in regards to his belongings, such as his books and garden, Bilbo would throw away a comfortable life in a second if it meant helping those he cares about. The fondness for the Dwarves that Bilbo developed, caused for him to risk his own life and abandon his selfish possessions in order to help reclaim their home. This sense of pity and selflessness is what allowed for him to give up The One Ring when Gandalf requested it of him), Chaotic Neutral when possessed by The One Ring (Those under the direct influence of The One Ring act as a man possessed, and will become entirely focused on it. They will lash out in anger if it is moved or threatened to be taken, and become overly worried if they happen to misplace it. People will sacrifice their own lives for the sake of owning The One Ring, due to Sauron's corruptive madness)

*Sting: Sting is an Elvish knife, likely made by Gondolin during the First Age. After a scuffle with a trio of trolls during the Quest of Erebor, Bilbo and the company of Dwarves gained access to the troll's cave. Within this cave was a pile of treasure plundered over the course of several years, which included this weapon. Due to its Elvish nature of glowing blue to warn of the presence of orcs and goblins, Bilbo claimed it as his own weapon. It later acquired the name "Sting" after Bilbo used it to slay an attacking spider. Once Bilbo retired to Rivendell, he passed this sword onto Frodo Baggins.

Background

The Legend of Dragoon is a series produced by the game development company, Japan Studio, and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. The series first launched in 1999 on the PlayStation, and later in 2000 had its first Chapter adapted into a manga drawn by Ataru Cagiva and published by Enterbrain.

Terms

  • Soa the Creator: The beginning of the world was a blackness, an absolute nothingness. Soa, over the course of Seven Generations, created everything out of the chaos. Once he was done, he sowed a seed to the earth, which grew and became known as the Divine Tree. Once the Divine Tree was finished bearing fruit, everything created by Soa was to be destroyed and then reborn anew.
  • The Divine Tree: The ultimate creation of Soa, once simply being a small seed planted into the soil of the Endiness continent. Once the tree grew, it began to bear 108 different fruits, which ripened and fell to the ground, birthing the life and species of the world. This tree is specifically designed for bringing life to the world, before it's final fruit would bring the world to an end.
    • Dragon: The 105th species born of the Divine Tree, which are large scaled and winged creatures of insurmountable power, who each have their own elemental designations. They are the enemies of the Winglies, the war between the two resulting in Dragons majorly disappearing from Endiness.
    • Human: The 106th species born of the Divine Tree, which appear as the common man. Eleven thousand years following the war between Humans, Dragons, and Winglies, this species is the only one to have remained. They have no special power, but are responsible for building up civilization as we know it.
    • Wingly: The 107th species born of the Divine Tree, which appear similar to Humans but with their own unique differences. They are far more technologically advanced, able to travel via teleportation devices and energy wings that protrude from their backs. Winglies have a superiority complex, and sought to put an end to Dragons and Humans as a sort of cleansing, but were defeated.
    • God of Destruction: The 108th species born of the Divine Tree, the one set to bring an end to Soa's creation of the world. Once the Moon Objects are gathered and taken to the Moon That Never Sets by the Moon Child, the God of Destruction's soul will finally reveal itself and use the Moon Child's body as its host. With that completed, the world would finally be destroyed.
  • Moon Child: A person born into Endiness every 108 years, who represents the 108th Fruit of the Divine Tree.
  • Moon That Never Sets: Hanging high up in the sky, eerily watching over the world at all times, is this Moon.
  • Black Monster: A figure shrouded in a mysterious black aura, who only shows itself every 108 years.
  • Dragoon: Also known as the Knight of the Dragon, Dragoons are those chosen by fate to rule over Dragons.
