Background

Wakfu is a tactical turn-based MMORPG, developed by Ankama Games. Development began in 2006, and the game was released for Microsoft Windows, macOS, and Linux on February 29, 2012. The game takes place 1,000 years after Ankama's previous game, Dofus. A spin-off game, Islands of Wakfu, was released on Xbox Live Arcade on March 30, 2011. An animated television series based on the game began airing in France from October 30, 2008. The series has also spawned various comics, a trading card game and a board game.

Power of the Verse

Wakfu has a decently strong franchise. The base cast can easily reach Multi-City Block stats, along with Town level, City level, and Universe level nonphysicals. Later in the series, the cast can reliably reach Universe level at the end of series, (down)scaling from the Gods and Ogrest, harnessing the power of the Eliacube and Dofus, and fighting against Oropo, who can create and destroy his own dimension. The verse doesn't slack in terms of speed either, with the base cast having Massively Hypersonic with Massively Hypersonic+ combat and reaction speeds, later going all the way to Extra-Temporal ratings.
