Background

SCP-1171 is a two-story house in ██████, Queensland, Australia. It was built in 1958, and has been owned by several families, most of whom reported no unusual activity. The most recent owner, John Wertham, complained about ghosts which caused investigation by civil authorities and eventually Foundation agents. After the investigation the Foundation Agents bought the house through a front organization and altered Mr. Wertham's memories.

SCP-1171 creates a layer of concensation continously in the windowpanes that allow communcation to people from another dimension, mainly an entity referred to as SCP-1171-1 (it calls itself Beauremont).
