Minato Namikaze (Naruto) uses the Death Sealing Jutsu which seals the very soul of the person it is used on by sacrificing themselves.

Summary

Sealing is the ability to force beings into situations in which they cannot escape, such as forcing them into other bodies, objects or dimensions. The way these are used varies and the power of the sealing varies between fiction and the skill used.

Types

  • 1 - Physical: The ability to seal the opponent's physical existence, by using this, the user can seal their enemies removing them into a place they cannot escape, such as an containment place/item, when used against living beings, there is the possibly that the seal can be broken, unless stated otherwise.
  • 2 - Metaphysical: The User can seal opponents spiritual, mental or some other metaphysical existence or level of the opponent, negating them on a higher level than the first tier. Sealing a person's metaphysical existence often removes their ability to die.
  • 3 - Conceptual: The user can seal their conceptual existence, by doing this, the user seals the opponent across all time and space, causing the user to cease existing across time and space, making sure that they never existed, until they are unsealed.
