Background

Souls is a series of action role-playing games developed by FromSoftware. The series began with the release of Demon's Souls for the PlayStation 3 in 2009, and was followed by Dark Souls and its sequels, Dark Souls II and Dark Souls III, in the 2010s. The series' creator, Hidetaka Miyazaki, served as director for each of them with the exceptions of Dark Souls II and the externally developed Demon's Souls remake.

The Souls games are played in a third-person perspective, and focus on exploring interconnected environments while fighting enemies with weapons and magic. Players battle bosses to progress through the story, while interacting with strange non-playable characters.

Power of the Verse

Dark Souls is a powerful verse, with its weakest characters being 8-B while the mid tiers are Low 6-B, and finally, the high tiers of the verse sit at 2-C. In terms of speed, the weak and mid tiers are Superhuman with Massively Hypersonic combat and reaction speed while the high tiers are overall. Extra-Temporal. The verse's most noticeable hax include Soul Manipulation, Immortality, Resurrection, Space-Time Manipulation, Life Manipulation, Death Manipulation, Conceptual Manipulation, Existence Erasure, Creation, Nothingness Manipulation, and Pocket Reality Manipulation.

Verse Scaling

The weakest characters scale to or above the Asylum Demon, the weakest boss from Dark Souls 1, and can cast spells such as Chaos Storm. Meanwhile, the mid tiers scale to feats such as the everlasting dragon and the Nameless King's storm feats. In terms of speed, they all scale to characters who can use and dodge lightning-based spells such as Lightning Spear and can also use and dodge Dragonslayer Arrows. The high tiers are capable of or scale to characters who can ignite and maintain the First Flame, a source of power that is described as being time itself and it's wavering is capable of causing space to invert onto itself, such as with the Ringed City. The First Flame's essence also maintains the stability of time and it's wavering presence was leading to the destruction of two universes. In terms of speed, these characters also scale to those who predate the First Flame, which is time itself.
