Jujutsu Kaisen

Background

Jujutsu Kaisen is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Gege Akutami, serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump since March 2018. The Jujutsu Kaisen chapters are collected and published by Shueisha, with sixteen tankōbon volumes released as of June 2021. The story follows high school student Yuji Itadori as he joins a secret organization of Jujutsu Sorcerers in order to kill a powerful Curse named Ryomen Sukuna, of whom Yuji becomes the host.

Power of the Verse

Jujutsu Kaisen is a fairly powerful verse, with the low tiers at minimum being 9-A and Superhuman in speed, the mid tiers range from 8-C to 8-A with Hypersonic+ speeds, and the high tiers in the verse being 7-B and Massively Hypersonic in speed. The verses's most noticeable hax include Mind Manipulation, Death Manipulation, Soul Manipulation, Spatial Manipulation, Pocket Reality Manipulation, Matter Manipulation, Power Nullification, Probability Manipulation, Law Manipulation, Abstract Existence (Type 3), and Transmutation.

Verse Scaling

The low tier characters scale to weaker curses in terms of attack potency and durability to curses are capable of destroying multiple walls and floors and scale to Yuji in terms of speed, who can travel 16.6667 m/s. The mid tier characters scales to curses who can destroy giant walls, level multiple floors, and create giant craters while these characters have also been able to catch bullets at point blank range and block and dodge attacks exceeding the speed of sound. Baseline special grade curses require carpet explosives to be defeated, with carpet explosives being roughly 11 tons. This elevates from Hanami's feat of taking 4 consecutive Black Flashes from Yuji, with Black Flash increasing the strength of an attack to the power of 2.5. As for the high tier characters, they scale to or above Jogo's Maximum Meteor, as characters like Sukuna have stated it would have merely hurt him and Kenjaku seeing Jogo as a disposable being.
