Background

Elektra Natchios is an assassin who as a young child was trained by Stick to fight the ancient criminal origination, The Hand. While on a mission to seduce Matt Murdock and have him join Stick she fell in love with him and the two would start dating until they broke up after she tried to force him to kill his father's killer, Roscoe Sweeney. Later in life Elektra would visit Matthew after he became Daredevil in need of his help to fight against a Japanese crime group. This group would turn out to be The Hand and over the course of several days the two would grow close together while taking down The Hand. Elektra and Daredevil would learn that The Hand wants to use Elektra as a weapon known as The Black Sky. Elektra rejected The Black Sky and decided to join Daredevil in their fight against The Hand. Eventually the two would end up on a rooftop fighting Nobu Yoshioka and other ninjas of The Hand and during the fight Nobu would accidentally fatally stab Elektra ending her life. After the fight Elektra was buried and left to rest in peace.

However The Hand was not yet defeated and they still wanted The Black Sky and would resurrect Elektra in a ritual. During the ritual The Hand would make Elektra forget her past and would then train her into their living weapon. Daredevil along with Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, and Iron Fist would learn of The Hands plan would try to stop them only for Elektra to intervein and fight them off. Daredevil and Elektra would fight various times with Elektra starting to remember who Daredevil was. However The Hand wanted him dead but they didn't know is that a part of Elektra's memory was still inside her and she would kill her master after she learned of their plan. Elektra now the leader of The Hand would use the hand for herself only to be stopped by The Defenders. In a final battle with Daredevil she would revert to her older self and telling Daredevil that she was sorry for all the things she done. Due to the length and location of their fight they would have a building fall on top of them. Daredevil was able to escape but whatever happened to Elektra is unknown.

However when she started to regain her memoires she betrayed and killed the leader of the hand and took control of it to use it for herself)

Thor just having a motivational speech from Peter Parker amplifies him to easily defeat M.Y.T.H.O.S., when he couldn't beat him beforehand. Conan noted that the human will can be greater than any physical strength, even sorcery. When Morlun was about to kill Spider-Man, he remembered his friends and family and got a resolve boost to start overpowering him. The Thing through his heart alone when he was about to turn back into Ben Grimm was able to beat The Hulk in one punch who he admitted was stronger then him. When Spider-Man in the first Sam Raimi movies loved ones are endangered Peter becomes far more powerful being capable of completely stomping someone who was previously stomping him. Raimi Spider-Man in Marvel Cinematic Universe was originally defeated by Green Goblin, and in their next fight when completely angered, easily beat him down and was going to kill him if Raimi Spider-Man didn't stop him)
