Introduction

I've finally gotten around to calculating the Reset Bomb; Both in Chapter 11 - Viridi, Goddess of Nature, and Chapter 17 - The Aurum Brain. The first feat I will be doing happens when Viridi attempts to launch a Reset Bomb at the Aurum Brain, but to no avail. Simple enough for the most part (Far easier than the first Reset Bomb which will be after this one).

The Calculation

Explosion of Reset Bomb

To begin with, we first need to understand that the Aurum Brain is a perfect sphere smaller than the moon and Earth. Furthermore, due to the hardware, comparing the Aurum Brain to the Earth, which isn't even fully in frame ever, is a formula for disaster. So instead, we're going to use the diameter of a Planetoid which has a diameter of six-hundred kilometers.

Comparing the Reset Bomb directly to the Aurum Brain here gives us a diameter of 91043.4837581 meters. We'll use the ground formula due to the resulting explosion's base being determined by the area it lands on.

45517.241379^3*((27136*1.37895+8649)^(1/2)/13568-93/13568)^2 = 7579024573.09 tons of TNT. For reference, that's 6.875575436792262 gigatons, which is Island level (6-C).

We'll also calculate the energy of the shockwave created by the Reset Bomb after it was detonated.

Aurum Brain diameter = 570px

Shockwave diameter = 713.5px

This makes the shockwave's full diameter 751.052631581 kilometers, or 751052.631581 meters. With this, we use our radius defined here and plug it into the formula used below.

W = 375526.315791^3((27136*1.37895+8649)^(1/2)/13568-93/13568)^2 = 4.2560492e+12 tons of TNT, which is 3.861022886938 teratons of TNT, or Small Country level (Low 6-B).

Chapter 11 Reset Bomb

This Reset Bomb detonates and creates a large crater. Due to having an established diameter for the Reset Bomb explosion, this will be much easier.

Using our previously established diameter for the Reset Bomb of 91043.4837581 meters, this makes the crater's diameter roughly 250440.782225 meters.

To make this simple for us, we'll assume the depth of the crater to be a quarter of the reset bomb's diameter, which makes it 62610.1955563 meters.

The crater looks like an ellipsoid, so we'll use the formula for that to get our volume. This makes our total volume 4.1122905e+21cm³.

We'll assume this was a comprehensive feat, given the edges of the crater are larger than before which suggests the ground close to the epicenter was pushed down.

Using Granite here, the compression rate of the rock surface should be 101.67 MPa. Thus we have our final formula.

4.1122905e+21*101.67 = 4.1809658e+23 joules, or 99.927480879541107583 teratons of TNT, Country level.
