Illusion Manipulation

Background

Illusion Manipulation is the ability to manipulate illusions. User can create, shape and manipulate illusions, causing targets to see, hear, touch, smell and/or taste things which do not actually exist or cause them to perceive things differently from what they truly are.

Some users are only able to change the way they or the target is perceived, others may be powerful enough to create complex and detailed illusions that affect all the senses and even cause a target to die by convincing the brain to copy anything that happens to the victim within the illusion which may kill the victim and manipulate illusions and make it real however, it may require a massive amount of energy to maintain such illusions.

Types

• Standard Illusions: This type of Illusion is the most basic version. The users are capable of manipulating illusion in a way that a person’s sight, hearing and sense of smell can be altered and manipulated. However others with higher levels of power may be capable of negating this ability, other people who are capable of manipulating illusions may be capable of breaking out of the illusion, etc. They might also be breakable by virtually anyone under the appropriate circumstances, such as anyone who figures out it is an illusion, or anyone who does something to "take back control of their senses", either mentally or by snapping their fingers/blinking their eyes forcefully. Though realizing they're in an illusion might not matter as some illusion users are capable of creating illusions that are so realistic to the point where all the senses of the target are confused, making it is virtually impossible to break free unless the users set them free.

• "Real" Illusions: The "real" type of illusion manipulation; it is basically a combination of Reality Warping and illusion manipulation, the users of this ability can put almost anyone in their illusion and making the illusion reality itself and vice-versa with a thought. If a person died in an illusion the user of this type of illusion put them in then they can actually be dead as an example. Or the illusionary objects created can actually inflict harm.
  • Users: Dr. Andonuts (Press the B Button, Stupid!), Lullaby (The Sandman), Fecto Elfilis (Kirby and the Forgotten Land)

Weaknesses

• Some illusions are weakened by someone realizing they're in an illusion, making their mind not register anything happening in the illusion and making them immune to it.
• Illusions of both types may be dispersed by defeating or killing the illusionist.
• Having a resistance to illusions of any kind will make one resistant to both types of illusions, ignoring of course potency.
