Introduction

It was agreed upon that it would be far more safe to assume two ends of Todd Ingram's moon jump taking one second (High end), and five seconds (Low end).

Furthermore, this blog will be used to calculate a recently discovered version for this feat by your's truly as of May 8, 2022.

Todd Ingram leaps to the moon

The Calculation

The distance of the moon is 384,400 kilometers on average. While we could waste our time using different ends based on where the moon could've been when the feat was performed, that would be a massive waste of time.

384,400/1 = 1.2808861255x the Speed of Light. FTL.

384,400/5 = 25-26% the Speed of Light. Relativistic.

End Result

Low-End timeframe is 1.28c, FTL

High-End timeframe is .25c, Relativistic

Todd Ingram's Shockwave speed

The Calculation

So essentially, Ramona states that after Todd's infamous hole to the moon, the shockwave of the punch returned to Earth.

Now based on the scene, it appears the clouds were visibly moved by the shockwave (This is assumed due to the curvature of the clouds around the moon) whilst the initial explosion was still up.

To make this easier for us, we're using the movie's flashback scene, which was directed and overseen by Bryan himself, for our timeframe.

We'll use two ends for this feat. Our low-end will use the full explosion as our timframe, whereas our high-end will use the moment it expanded as our timeframe.

The explosion takes a full eleven frames out of sixty to fully form, that's 0.18333333326 seconds.

384,400/0.18333333326 = 2096729360 m/s, or 6.993936318438 times the speed of light, FTL.

384,400/0.03333333332 = 11532000000 m/s, or 38.466611458251 times the speed of light, FTL

End Results

Low-End: 6.993936318438c, FTL

High-End: 38.466611458251c, FTL

Scaling

Comic Characters

Comics will have everyone post-volume three scale to Todd Ingram and upscale accordingly. Due to stat amps being incredibly vague, I don't see them doubling or trippling Todd's base speed.

Movie Characters

Movie will have a similar chain with PoSR Scott and co getting a 7x boost off of Gideon's multiplier, which will be FTL regardless of the timeframe accepted.

Game Characters

Nigh-Identical to the comics with the only difference being the potentialness of Matthew Patel and Lucas Lee scaling to Todd at the very end of the game.
