Zelda time. If you’re expecting a big feat then don’t be too excited.

Link dodges Barinade’s signal beams:

Speed of electricity listed here:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Speed_of_electricity

First let’s find the height of Barinade.

Link’s 1.27 m or 127 cm

https://zeldauniverse.net/forums/Thread/173488-How-tall-is-from-Ocarina-Of-Time/#:~:text=of%20LoZ%20wrote%3A-,Using%20the%20iron%20boots%20in%20the%20lakeside%20laboratory%20reveals%20that,Link%20are%20in%20the%20sky%3F

Link’s 192 px and Barinade is 534 px.

So Barinade is 353.21875 cm or 3.53 m.

K so now to find the distance Link’s 232 px while Barinade is 285 px

https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/599768465099980811/778720528093020170/unknown.png

2atan(tan(70/2)*[285/648]) = 34.233650677614

Plugging that into the angsize calculator I got 5.7312 meters.

K so link’s avoiding the electricity from 5-6 meters away and he can jump 1.9 meters via scaling his height and turning it sideways.

So

((1.9 m) * (4.4×10^5 m/s))/5.7312m = 145,868.2300390843104411 m/s or Mach 425.

Alternative calc is the signals that come out of the electricity before the electricity fires, Link can jump the same amount of meters before the signals reach him.

Signal speed is assumed 50%-99% SoL, I’ll assume 50%.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Speed_of_electricity

((1.9 m) * (1.499e+8m/s))/5.7312m = 49,694,653.824678950307091 m/s or 16% SoL, aka Relativistic.

This is my first time doing a speed calc so let me know if I messed something up.
