the baki page has a lot of old fragmentation method stuff and general links to vbw's resources.. so it'll be handled . thank you warner for sending me the goods to work with & put down

the first one

thank you to KGiffoni on vbw for the initial calc .. always appreciated

a new formula for me . so if mistakes are made , lmk .

middle-ground variable for concrete's fracture toughness used is 0.4 j/cm³

initial calc volume = 62,000 cubic centimeters

i assume we always do this volume reduction bit, so with a volume reduction of the average 70% ...

62,000 * .3 = 18,600 cm^3

0.4 * 18,600 cm^3 = 7,440 joules / 7.440 kilojoules . Peak Human level+ . so close to wall .. this isn't a bad bargain, given it's deemed acceptable for use in consideration of the feat itself (assuming my volume reduction was without flaw)

the second one

another by KGiffoni ... link here

calc uses a mixture of one-fourth steel & three-fourths concrete for a given volume

a total volume of 183,900 c^3

concrete given volume (3/4s) = 137,925 c^3

steel given volume (1/4) = 45,975 c^3

as previously stated, the value for concrete's fracture toughness is middle-ground 0.4 j/cm³ . meanwhile, steel has a fracture toughness of 87.5 j/cm³

(137,925 * .4) + (45,975 * 87.5) = 4,077,982.5 joules

again, applying a volume reduction of 70%

4,077,982.5 *.3 = 1,223,394.75 joules / 0.0002923983628107 tons of tnt . Wall level

the third one

a third by DMUA . thanks again . calculation here

this is for the destroying the statue of liberty using our fracture toughness standards

i'm not exactly sure of some of the values and materials here .. as there is a large variety of sources dancing around between an iron or steel framework, if it's wrought iron, etc..

but we'll just do with our basic iron & copper values for simplicity

assuming this value is still viable, copper has a fracture toughness value of 35 j/cm³ , & iron one of 67.5 J/cm³

given initial volume for iron appears to be 16,510,033.0201 cm^3 ... and i can't seem to recreate that at all, given an iron weight of 117,934 kg (130 tons), and a density of 7,874 KG/M^3 . the only value i can reproduce for the iron appears to be 14,977,647.9553

1,497,7647.9553 * 67.5 = 1010991236.98 joules (iron)

the initial copper value, however, is reproducible, so i'll be using the rate of 9,832,402.23464 cm^3

9,832,402.23464 * 35 = 344134078.212 joules (copper)

1010991236.98 + 344134078.212 = 1,355,125,315.19 joules (total)

volume reduction (70%, but this could be generous . statue of liberty has hollowness)

1,355,125,315.19 * .3 = 406,537,594.557 joules, or 0.0971648170547323 tons of tnt . Room level+

the baki feat, however, has a downside in that there's an assumption that it took a multitude of strikes over a period of time . so going with the initial division of 20, 0.00485824085 tons of tnt . Wall level
