Reality Warping

Background

Reality Warping is the ability to have full control over reality and bend it to the users whim. The user can warp reality, being able to do things such as turn their own imagination into reality and vice versa. Users tend to vary greatly due to how broad the powers of reality warping is. Reality is the sum or aggregate of all that is real or existent within a system. Everything that humanity has categorized as real or possesses a physical impact on their surrounding area can be defined as actual. From the laws of physics (matter, energy, space-time), the universe to intangible phenomena such as logic is considered to exist.

Reality Warping is a general term for characters to manipulate reality; they can utilize anything. From matter and energy, due to its interconnectivity with the layers of reality, potent cosmic or psionic powers, space-time, overwhelming emotions, dreams, imagination, and fundamental forces. The most common (as well as the most powerful and pure) variant of reality warping is Mentifery, the power to manipulate reality through the power of the mind. These two superpowers are often indistinguishable, both wielding the same properties and control, except Mentifery possesses raw power and enormous potential due to being fueled by the mind, considered the most powerful concept or source in the universe to its complexity and mysterious nature. Users can materialize their imagination, thoughts, dreams, or mind into the material world and shape them to shift reality according to their willpower. The main limitations of reality warping are an advanced variation of the superpower or understanding the sophistication of reality itself; everything requires understanding to be used effectively.

Possible Applications

• Standard Reality Warping: User are able to change or warp reality (Note: Mostly refers to what is real.)
• Empathic Reality Warping: Users are basically warp reality via not via conscious thoughts but from their or others emotion, instinct and feelings.
• Mental Reality Warp: Users are able to warp reality from their or others imagination and thoughts. Thus allowing the user any desire based on thoughts alone.
• Reality/Fantasy Manipulation: Users are able to manipulate the boundary between fantasy and reality, turning them into one. Users can turn aspects of reality into fantasies and fantasies into reality.
• Dual Warping: Users are able to manipulate reality rationally and irrationally. The rational side allows users to create, rewrite, erase all aspects of reality while the irrational side allows users to warp reality through imaginations, desires, Ideas, bringing anything into existence and the reverse, or remodeling it regardless of rules or reason.

Limitations

• Weaker users can only warp reality itself and not imaginary aspects.
• Some may only be capable of doing it by complete accident.

Note

Reality Warping as an ability is so broad that virtually every supernatural ability on this wiki is a byproduct of reality warping, thus someone having a "resistance to reality warping" is not considered fully literal and only to what they've shown to resist from said reality warping, otherwise it'd be the same as saying the person has a resistance to almost every supernatural ability ever.
