Preformed the Virtuous Mission, were he wasn't able to leave any trace of his presence, making so he had almost no weapons, no equipment, couldn't leave traces of his footprints, couldn't leave traces of his sweat, couldn't leave traces of his bodily wastes, couldn't leave traces of bullets and cartridges, and couldn't be spotted by the enemy. Able to sneak around enemy soldiers after his only gun was destroyed and after The Boss alerted them of his presence by creating an explosion near him. Able to sneak around and take out the Ocelot Unit of Spetsnaz while they were actively searching for him, with the Ocelot Unit being the best unit GRU has to offer. Able to sneak around attack dogs, which are highly trained in tracking and detection. Able to sneak around GRU soldiers in flying vehicles. In a sniper duel, he was able to defeat The End, even being able to sneak up on him and hold him up during the battle despite having no experience in sniping in forest environments. The End is a legendary sniper, being stated to be "the father of modern sniping" and is so good at it that he doesn't need spotter. Along with this, The End had a almost supernatural knack for camouflaging himself and had the forest on his side due to his connection with it, being able to speak with it and knowing it inside out. Able to sneak into a mountain base while evading both the guards and multiple Hind Ds. Able to sneak around and take out The Fury, a member of the Cobra Unit, who are legendary heroes from World War II responsible for the United States' victory in said war. Snuck into the heavily guarded fortress of Groznyj Grad and later disguised himself as both a scientist and as Major Ivan Raidenovitch Raikov to infiltrate it, with said fortress being described as impenetrable. After being heavily injured from being tortured, he was to able to escape Groznyj Grad without any of his equipment. Later snuck back into Groznyj Grad and was able to disguise himself as an engineer to plant C3 charge on the Shagohod's fuel tanks. Able to sneak around various soldiers looking after him while also having to protect an injured EVA. U.S. government officials were so impressed with Big Boss' performance in Operation Snake Eater that they wanted to create an infiltration unit for top secret sneaking missions like FOX with people like Big Boss in them. Snuck into various CIA operated areas within Costa Rica without being spotted. Able to sneak around tanks and stealthily take out the soldiers that patrol with them. Snuck around various trained CIA snipers and camouflaged enemy scouts that were on the look for Big Boss. Able to sneak around an attack helicopter and stealthily take out the soldiers that patrol with it. After being tortured by Dr. Strangelove, Big Boss was able to escape out of a prison cell and stealthily take out the guards without any of his equipment. Caught Vladimir Zadornov after he escaped from MSF multiple times while evading various armed soldiers in the process, and even found him after he got rid of the transmitter placed on him. Snuck into Camp Omega and rescued both Chico and Paz without being spotted, with Big Boss not being able to call in backup due to the nature of the mission. Stated by Solid Snake to be better at tracking then he is, with Snake being able to track Naomi's footprints while evading various PMC soldiers with better equipment then what Big Boss has used in his missions)
