Background

Absolute Zero is the theoretical lowest temperature possible, measured at 0 Kelvin or -273.15°C. At this point, all molecular motion ceases, and entropy reaches its minimum. In fiction, this concept is weaponized as a devastating cold-based ability that freezes matter at the atomic or even subatomic level. Exposure to absolute zero often results in molecular immobilization, followed by disintegration or shattering due to the complete breakdown of atomic cohesion.

Because of its fundamental nature, attacks utilizing absolute zero typically bypass normal durability or energy-based resistance, rendering it a powerful form of Durability Negation. Characters capable of surviving or resisting such cold demonstrate a resistance that borders on absolute invulnerability to thermal extremes.
