Berserk Mode

Background

The Berserk Mode is a condition in which a character, due to psychological or physical effects, falls into an uncontrollable rage. Intelligence is often reduced to the level of animal instincts, and the person in this condition begins to attack indiscriminately, with increased aggression. However, the person could pose a threat to both enemies and allies. Berserk Mode is often accompanied by a sharp increase in the attack ability at the expense of the defense.

Possible Uses

• A notable increase in the user's physical characteristics
• Increased physical tolerance or total insensitivity to pain
• A rage power boost.

Possible Limitations

• Often people lose huge amounts of intelligence when they go through berserk modes
• Many Berserkers lose the sense of perseverance and are more willing to put themselves in danger
• A character in Berserk mode may not have much control over his actions, do things beyond his control
• Might need an outside source such as the moon to trigger such a state
