Bobby Barrows

From The Codex
Jump to navigationJump to search

Background

Bobby Barrows is the primary stalker and secondary antagonist of Clock Tower: The First Fear. He is the first Scissorman to appear in the Clock Tower series, however, chronologically the first was John Barrows. Bobby is the son of Mary Barrows and twin brother of Dan Barrows.

Throughout the game, he relentlessly stalks Jennifer Simpson in the Barrows Mansion and tries to kill her. In the good endings of the game, he dies. If a bad ending was obtained, then he lives and possibly kills Jennifer depending on the specific ending.

General Information

Name: Bobby Barrows

Origin: Clock Tower: The First Fear

Assigned Gender: Male

Age: 8

Classification: Scissorman, Deformed Twin, Demon

Status: Deceased (Was killed after Jennifer started the Clock Tower again)

Alignment: Chaotic Evil (Is a ruthless killer with his childlike mentality due to his age)

Codex Statistics

Tier: At least High 10-C, 9-C with Scissors

Cardinality: Finite

Dimensionality: 3-D

Attack Potency: At least High Subhuman level (Bobby’s body is noted to be so ill deformed that Walter Simpson notes he should’ve been dead, shown to be physically weaker then Jennifer Simpson, and can only overpower her when she’s tired, however even as an infant he was capable of completely eating off Mr. Walter’s right hand), Bone level with Scissors (Could stab Ann through a glass mural, can break through wooden floors, can break open a door)

Durability: High Subhuman level (So weak that even a crow can overpower him, his body was noted by Walter Simpson to be so deformed that he should’ve been dead), his Immortality, Invulnerability, & Reality Separation makes him very difficult to kill

Striking Strength: At least High Subhuman level

Lifting Strength: Likely Average Human (Able to briefly wrestle with Jennifer Simpson, and win when she’s tired)

Travel Speed: Below Average Human (Far slower then Jennifer to the point that she can lap around the entire mansion and even trip over herself without Bobby being able to catch up)

Attack Speed: Regular Human

Reaction Speed: Regular Human

Stamina: Limitless (Bobby has never shown to get tired throughout the entirety of the game. Bobby is an immortal being whose body is outside the flow of time thereby making him unaffected by anything within time’s flow, even with his ill-deformed body he is capable of staying alive due to time having no adherence to him, this is shown with the fact that the only way to defeat him is turning the clock tower back on)

Range: Standard Melee, Extended Melee with Scissors (The scissors are large enough to where they almost are the size of Bobby’s body)

Intelligence: Average Intelligence (As Bobby is only 8 years old, and likely has never received any form of formal teaching from his mother Mary, being merely a sadistic serial killer who gains joy from killing his victims, he has no real form of intelligence, being able to be easily tricked and able to be dodged by Jennifer)

Knowledge: Journeyman level

Powers and Techniques

Equipment

Scissors

Other

Standard Tactics: Bobby attempts to walk up to his opponent and stab them with his scissors, normally he will hide and reveal himself to attempt to kill the opponent or teleport to them.

Weaknesses: If the Clock Tower is started again Bobby will instantly die due to the state of his body which was noted by Walter to be so deformed he should be dead.

Note: Despite it being implied Bobby’s time flow is only within the mansion, this is shown incorrect as one of the ending’s of the game has Jennifer driving far away from the mansion and Bobby teleports into the car with her, if he was no longer under time’s flow he would be dead instantly due to his deformed body.
