Background

Face Ripper was a Demon-level Mysterious Being and a member of the Monster Association. He was killed by Genos.

Face Ripper first appears in C-City. Genos arrives just as Face Ripper is about to attack a civilian, and blasts him with his Incineration Cannon. Face Ripper blocks the attack with his knives. He shows excitement for meeting the S-Class hero and immediately tries to slice off Genos' face.

Face Ripper continues his attacks on Genos with his knives, his movements a flurry of motion. While taunting Genos, he lands a solid blow on Genos' head with his knife, laughing maniacally, only to realize the knife has shattered. Genos uses the opening to grab Face Ripper's face and kill him using High Voltage Fist.

• Large Knives: Face Ripper possessed two large butcher knives, which he used during combat and also to peel off the faces of his victims. They were strong enough to damage Genos' metal arms. Along with this he could use them to perfectly guard attacks while cutting Genos apart, making Genos have to bait him to let his guard down.
