Background

When Helltaker first encounters Zdrada at the end of level 5, she introduces herself by talking about Helltaker's harem and saying immediately she is joining it. Helltaker is given two options to respond with: "Wait. I have a feeling I'll regret it." "It's not really a harem anymore. We just play turn based strategies." If Helltaker picks the first option, she tells Helltaker she will be coming anyway and how Helltaker is free to try and stop her. A big cloud of smoke comes out of her mouth as she giggles. She joins the party and Helltaker receives a "SUCCESS" prompt, advancing on to Level 6. If Helltaker picks the second option, Zdrada puts you out of your misery by killing you. Helltaker is given a "Bad End" screen, which says "Your vision swam. The last thing you noticed was a knife buried hilt deep between your ribs." Zdrada will answer to life advice in Chapter VI. Zdrada: "Don't look at me for puzzle hints. I'm not a nerd. Maybe go kill yourself on some spikes. It'll be amusing." Malina: "My sister's always like that. I can't believe you invited her..." Zdrada: "Yeah. What were you thinking, man? Glad you invited Malina, though. She spends too much time, all alone, playing most nerdy video games I've ever seen." Malina: "Can you please shut up?" Zdrada: "Do you know how turned on she gets while playing them? That one time when she..." Malina: "Kill one of us. Me or her. Please. Fast." Helltaker is given two options to respond with: *Kill them both* *Kill yourself* If Helltaker picks the first option, Pandemonica will urge Helltaker to just leave them be. If Helltaker picks the second option, Helltaker will follow Zdrada's advice and impale himself on some spikes despite Pandemonica trying to stop him. Doing this will also grant you the Lifetaker achievement.

Appearance

General Description: Zdrada is depicted as a short demon girl with pale skin, red irises, a black arrow-tipped tail, and silvery-white hair. Her hair is quite short and most of it covers her left eye.

Facial Features: Black eye shadow. Piercings on her mouth, ears, and nose.

Clothing/Outfit: Her base attire consists of a red tucked shirt, black skinny jeans, and black knee-length heeled boots. On her arms, she wears sorts of black bracelets, one of them reaching to her fingers.

Accessories: Two small black horns that are rounded inwards poke out of her hair. A white cross necklace, which is a clear reference to her name. A black choker.

Alternate Forms/Disguises: In "Just a Short Comic About Glasses," she temporarily wears a pair of black glasses with translucent white lenses after losing her contact lenses.

Personality

• Mean-Spirited and Uncaring: Zdrada is mean-spirited and rarely cares for anything. She is very dorky, as her label implies.

• Dislikes Problems and Puzzles: Zdrada dislikes solving problems, nerdy puzzles, and Malina's video games. She tells Helltaker they can go kill themselves if they do not want to solve the puzzles in Level 6.

• Chain Smoker: Zdrada always seems to be smoking and does not care even if it is forbidden.

• Sadomasochistic: Zdrada is sadomasochistic, finding pleasure in watching other people, including herself, in pain and despair. She does not care what she has said. Her self-afflicted sadomasochism is shown with the cross she wears; being a holy symbol, it constantly burns her skin.

• Loves to Irritate Malina: Zdrada loves to irritate and pester her younger sister, calling her "Malinka" instead of her proper name.
