Home Alone
The McCallister family is preparing to spend Christmas in Paris, gathering at Peter and Kate's home in a Chicago suburb on the night before their departure. Peter and Kate's youngest son, Kevin, is the subject of ridicule by his older siblings and cousins. Kevin inadvertently ruins the family dinner after a brief scuffle against his oldest brother Buzz, resulting in Kate sending him up to the attic. Kevin berates his mother for allowing the rest of the family to pick on him and wishes that his family would disappear. During the night, heavy winds create a power outage, disabling the alarm clocks and causing the family to oversleep. In the confusion and rush to get to the airport, Kevin is accidentally left behind. Kevin wakes to find the house empty, and the family cars still in the garage, unaware that they had rented vans to take them to the airport. Thinking that his wish has come true, he is overjoyed with his newfound freedom. Later, Kevin becomes frightened by his next door neighbor, "Old Man" Marley, who is rumored by the local children to be a serial killer who murdered his own family. The McCallister home is soon stalked by the "Wet Bandits", Harry and Marv, a pair of burglars who have been breaking into other vacant houses in the neighborhood. Kevin tricks them into thinking that his family is still home, forcing them to postpone their plans to rob the McCallister house. Kate realizes mid-flight that Kevin was left behind, and upon arrival in Paris, the family discovers that all flights for the next two days are booked, and that the phone lines are still down back home in Chicago. Peter and the rest of the family stay in his brother's apartment in Paris, while Kate manages to get a flight back to Scranton, Pennsylvania. She attempts to find a flight to Chicago, but all the flights are booked. Kate is overheard by Gus Polinski, the lead member of a traveling polka band, who offers to let her travel with them to Chicago in a moving van. Meanwhile, Harry and Marv finally realize that only Kevin is in the McCallister home, and on Christmas Eve, Kevin overhears them discussing plans to break into the house that night. Kevin starts to miss his family and asks the local Santa Claus impersonator if he could bring his family back for Christmas. He goes to church and watches a choir perform, and encounters Marley, who proves the rumors about him are false. Marley points out his granddaughter in the choir, and mentions he has never met her since she is the daughter of his estranged son. Kevin suggests to Marley that he should reconcile with his son. Kevin returns home and rigs the house with booby traps. Harry and Marv break in, spring the traps, and suffer various injuries. While Harry and Marv pursue Kevin around the house, he calls the police and lures the duo into a vacant neighboring house which they had previously broken into. Harry and Marv ambush Kevin and prepare to get their revenge, but Marley intervenes and knocks them unconscious with his snow shovel. The police arrive and arrest Harry and Marv, having identified all the houses that they broke into due to Marv's destructive habit of flooding them. On Christmas Day, Kevin is initially disappointed to find that his family is still gone, although Kate arrives home and they reconcile. The rest of the family soon return after waiting in Paris until they could obtain a direct flight to Chicago. Kevin keeps silent about his encounter with Harry and Marv, although Peter finds Harry's knocked-out gold tooth. Kevin then watches Marley reuniting with his son, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter. Marley notices Kevin, and they wave to each other. Home Alone 2: Lost in New York The McCallister family is preparing to spend Christmas in Miami, and gathers at Peter and Kate's Chicago home. Their youngest son, Kevin, views Florida as contradictory to Christmas, due to its tropical climate and lack of Christmas trees. At a school pageant, during Kevin's solo, his older brother Buzz pranks him; Kevin retaliates by pushing him, which causes the entire choir to fall, ruining the pageant. At home, Buzz makes a false apology, which the family accepts, berating Kevin when he says he retaliated for Buzz humiliating him. Kevin insults his family for believing Buzz's lies and for spending Christmas in a tropical climate, and storms off to the attic, wishing to have his own vacation alone. The next morning, the family oversleeps and must rush to the airport. Kevin is with them, but he becomes separated from them while carrying Peter's bag and accidentally boards a flight to New York City. Upon arrival, he decides to tour the city, but becomes frightened by a homeless woman tending to pigeons in Central Park. He uses Peter's credit card to check in at the Plaza Hotel, not knowing that the Wet Bandits have also reached the city after escaping from prison. On Christmas Eve, Kevin visits a toy store whose kindly owner, Mr. Duncan, plans to donate the day's sale proceeds to a children's hospital. After Kevin makes a donation, Mr. Duncan gives him a pair of ceramic turtledoves in thanks, instructing him to give one to another person as a gesture of eternal friendship. The concierge at the Plaza confronts Kevin about his use of Peter's credit card, now reported as stolen; Kevin flees the hotel but is caught by the Wet Bandits. Marv mentions his and Harry's plan to rob the store before Kevin escapes in an encounter with a passerby. Earlier, upon landing in Miami, the McCallister family discover that Kevin is missing and file a police report. After the police trace Peter's credit card, the family flies immediately to New York. Meanwhile, Kevin goes to his uncle's townhouse, only to find it vacant and undergoing renovations. In Central Park, Kevin encounters and eventually befriends the pigeon lady, who takes him to Carnegie Hall. She explains how her life collapsed when her lover left her; Kevin encourages her to trust people again. After considering her advice that he perform a good deed to make up for his misdeeds, and recalling Mr. Duncan's intent to donate to the hospital, he decides to prevent Harry and Marv from robbing the store. Kevin rigs the townhouse with booby traps, catches Harry and Marv in the process of robbing the store, and breaks its front window to set off the burglar alarm. After taking their picture, he lures them to the townhouse where they repeatedly injure themselves in the traps. Kevin slips away, calls the police from a pay phone to alert them to the pair's presence, and flees toward Central Park. Harry and Marv catch him after he slips on ice and prepare to kill him, but the pigeon lady throws a bucket of birdseed onto them, attracting a massive flock of pigeons and incapacitating the pair until the police arrive to arrest them. Kevin provides photographic and tape-recorded evidence against them, and Mr. Duncan recovers the donation money and finds a note from Kevin explaining why he broke the window. The family arrives in New York, and Kate, remembering Kevin's fondness for Christmas trees, finds him making a wish at the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree. On Christmas morning, a truckload of free gifts arrives at the McCallisters' hotel room, sent from a grateful Mr. Duncan for foiling the robbery. Kevin reconciles with his family, and goes to Central Park to give one of his turtledoves to the pigeon lady, cementing their friendship. |

Optional Equipment
Buzz's BB gun: Buzz McCallister's BB gun was a pump-action BB shotgun which Kevin used to shoot Harry in the groin and Marv in the forehead
Firecrackers: Firecrackers that Kevin used along side an old mafia movie in order to make Marv believe he was being shot at.
Fireworks: Fireworks that Kevin used to signal the police where the wet bandits were located.
Bozo the Clown: An inflatable pool clown that Kevin used along with his Talkboy to trick Hector into thinking his father was in the shower.
Frying Pan: A frying pan which he used to hit Marv in the face.
Various items for traps: Kevin has used a large number of items within his traps including, a BBQ starter, matches, a fan, feathers, trip wires, tar, blowtorches, Christmas ornaments, micro machines, a 90 amperes, kerosene, ropes, paint cans, a metal pipe, a nail, a staple gun, a bag of flour a saw and hedge clippers.
Notable Traps
BBQ Starter on doorknob: An electric BBQ starter that Kevin placed on a doorknob to cause a sever burn to whomever tried to open the door.
Stairs full of tar: Kevin covered the basement steps in his home with this liquid and allowed it to set for some time. in order to inconvenience anyone walking on them by forcing them to remove their footwear in order to proceed. In order to inconvenience them even further, Kevin placed a nail in the middle of one of the step so that when it is stepped on, the person in pain would fall back down.
Blowtorch by the backdoor: A blowtorch that Kevin set up in the back door to his home in order to ignite the head of whomever tried to open the door.
Micromachines by the stairs: little toys cars that kevin placed at the bottom of the stairs in case someone tried to run to them.
Christmas ornaments by the windows: Christmast ornaments that Kevin placed near the windows so that if someone tried to climb trought them, they would step on them and get cut.
Falling Steaming Iron: A steaming iron that kevin placed it on the second floor and attached it to a rope which he disguised as the switch of a lightbulb. If someone pulled the rope, the iron would fall on the person's head.
Paint Cans: Kevin attached ropes near the stairs and attached them to some paint cans at the top of the stairs, where he would push the paint cans in order for them to slam in his pursuer.
Trip Wire: A trip wire that kevin placed in the hallway upstairs so that someone would trip if they tried to pursue him.
Sticky Warp and feathers: Kevin put a sticky wrap full of glue at the entrace of the door along with a trip wire which when activated would cause a fan to be turned on and blow feather on the persone's face. this is by far Kevin's less usefull trap and was likely simply done to humiliate the wet bandits.
Emergency zipline: Kevin attached a rope from the attic window all the way to his tree-house. using a bike handle he can zipline away from pursuer. if someone tries to follow him to his treehouse, he will cut the rope with hedge clippers.
Staple gun: A staple gun that Kevin set up behind the entrance door which was connected to the doorknob with ropes. Upon the someone pulling on it, the Staple gun would fire staple into the persone's skin.
Soapy Ladder: Kevin put some monster sap soap on the outside ladder making it so whomever tried to jump to it in order to grab it would instead painful fall back down.
No floor entrance: Kevin removed the floor of the entrace so that whomever got trought would fall down to the basement.
Electrified sink: Kevin hooked up A 90 amperes to a sink so whomever tried to use it would get electrified.
Soapy floor: Kevin poured soap all over one of the basement room which would cause someone to slip and slide which lead them to a shelf full of paint can which would then fall on them.
Falling Tools: Kevin put a bag full of heavy tools so that it would fall on anyone trying to open the backdoor.
Blow torch by the bathroom door + toilet filled with kerosene: Kevin placed a blowtorch by the bathroom door so whomever tried to use the lightbulb switch would get their head set on fire, along with that, Kevin filled the toilet with kerosene so that if the persone tried to dunk their head in the toilet to put the fire out it would result in an explosion.
Bag of flour: A bag of flour that was attached to a rope that was left hanging in a hole. This was to make the persone belive the rope could support their weight and thus could use the rope to climb back up but would instead receive a bag of flour to the head.
sawed ladder: A ladder that kevin gently sawed, it is still strong enough to hold his weight but should an adult pursue him, the ladder would break due to their weight.
Paint cans and metal pipe: The same trap as Home Alone 1 but this time along with the two paint cans, Kevin added a large metal pipe.
Kerosene soaked rope: A rope that kevin soaked in kerosene. After all of Kevin's booby traps, he will run to the rooftop and climb down using said rope, should his pursuers follow him down, he will light up the rope with a match.
Other
Standard Tactics: If given time to prepar, Kevin will make various traps using whatever he can find laying around and will then run and taunt his enemies into running into them and getting harmed. without preparation, Kevin will attempt to run away while looking in his surroundings for items he can use to attack or trip his opponents with.
Weakness: Despite his rather cunning nature, Kevin remains a young child that can be easily intimidated and if someone was to get past his booby traps he would be left rather defenseless
