Background

LIFE JAM GUY is a character and enemy in OMORI. He is a friendly jar of red-colored jam that sells LIFE JAM to the party on every occasion they come across him.

LIFE JAM GUY is shown to be amicable to the party, and offers them free samples of LIFE JAM. However, despite his benevolent demeanor, LIFE JAM GUY is rather dangerous as his free samples involve defeating all party members not before offering a wounded OMORI three samples of LIFE JAM.

Even though he appears to be menacing and threatening to the party, he doesn't have any ill intentions of harming them, only wanting to explain the benefits of LIFE JAM. He also has a tendency to say "haha" after sentences.
