 Scenario: Popo and Nana made the meeting of a fellow moutain climber, unlike them however, She made usage of an "Arrow Gun". Determined to prove that they're old fashioned method couldn't be surpassed, the ice climbers challenged the climber to a mountain climbing race. Conditions:

 As much as I wanna say Nana becomes a nuisance and hammers the Climber down while Popo climbs up to take the win...the power of technology truly does beat the power of friendship. By the time the two make it halfway, that gun is just gonna outpace them. They're near equal in speed on foot and the gun is just going to give the edge she needs to outpace them.

 Due to the slow each other down part it seems Climber is most likely getting this. Ice Climbers don't really fight much asides from basic hammer attack.

I mean Climber probably wouldn't think to attack them, especially with her arrow gun sense that could potentially kill them and she's mostly fighting for self-defense. I gave them the ability to attack but i doubt all of them would really go for it right away

In that case then I guess the question is what's the typical mountain regions the Climber has climbed? Ice Climbers mostly travel up what seems to be glacier-region mountains to catch a conda.

Climber has climbed a bunch of moutain reaching from regular rock ones to more glacier-region. The final level of Frost Bite 1 is an obvious wink to Mount Everest and the final level of Frost Bite 2 is seemingly a mountain even more challenging than it

Based on this then and the fact that they actually have a grappling hook they can use while the Ice Climbers are just raw dogging it I'm going to give it to the Climber.
