Forum - Mirai No Uta - Future Tunks vs Ange Ushiromiya

Interesting fight overall; the main issue for Trunks is if Ange shifts the battle into the meta-world he's done for. On top of this even in the human world she can still summon the sisters to attack and ignore anti-magic toxins, making it even harder for Trunks to get a good interaction with her since he'll have to deal with the seven sisters and if Sakatarou pulls a thing where locking on or targeting him and Ange is banned.

Trunks killing any of the summons would do nothing either since Ange is the witch of resurrection and will continually resurrect them while he'll also have a very difficult time getting to Ange herself to get a clean kill in.

Giving this to Ange overall, nice scenario too.

I think Trunks has the advantage in terms of attacks and Ki blasts, and arguably has more combat experience than Ange; while I agree that Sakatarou poses a real problem for him, I believe Trunks is still faster.

In terms of speed Trunks has consistently been shown to use his speed to avoid attacks and play around so while his speed would help him avoid direct attacks from Ange before she declares a metaworld, he wouldn't be able to see any of the summons who will attack him with magical properties that ignore durability, which I don't know if his speed would help him there especially since he wouldn't be able to summon them.

Trunks is still having advantages with ki bombardments, plus we see that the seven stakes are still fighting physically.

I went to check, Trunks doesn't really use ki bombardments as a strategy much against single fighters he's shot a blast here that's just a big energy wave uses heat dome attack here doesn't use ki bombardment here he shoots some ki blasts here but it's also contextually he's fighting two enemies doesn't do it here and here. Ki blast usually aren't until later in the fight for him too.

Due to this I see Ange winning more times then Trunks as she has pretty much always opened with summons to the point that it's a natural part of her moveset in the fighting game. Also the seven stakes are piercing weapons which ki users have a weakness against especially if their guard isn't up against them.

After giving it some serious thought, I think you're right; Ange has better options for overwhelming Trunks. Many of her abilities and summons are overwhelming him, whereas his only advantages are superior AP and speed, which is useless when Ange has conceptual attacks in her repertoire.
