Ryu Street Fighter Alpha Series Key

vs.

Hanzo Hasashi

Location: The Shirai-Ryu base.

Scenario: Ryu decides to travel to the Shirai-Ryu base, hearing about a clan of ninja who should have been strong enough to completely decimate him. However, he finds the completely defeated group, and a man somber before a gravestone, but coursing through with fire. Wanting to move away, he finds himself parrying an attack from the individual, who is in a state of rage, unwilling to be calmed down. Will Ryu come out able to beat some sense into the individual, or will he fall to his blade?

Alpha series Ryu meaning he's more susceptible to tapping into the satsui no hado. Also another fire user that has the issue of Ryu's hadouken negate flames.

He can also read Scorpion's moves and feel the intent of his attacks.

Scorpion on the other hand has a couple of different strategies. Teleportation through hellfire to attack, sending Ryu into the netherrealm (though I think doing this would instead instinctively activate the Satsui no Hado and have him have to deal with Evil Ryu), and use his spear for ranged attacks.

I think though Ryu can overwhelm him through the use of afterimages, quick strikes, and his hadouken nullifying flames, giving this to Ryu about 60/40.
