1# - Anti A.T. Field

After Shinji has his freakout at witnessing the Mass-Production Evangelion Units leisurely toss around the entrails of Eva-02 and gets hit by the previously lunar-trapped Spear of Longinus, the 9 "harpies" impale Eva-01 with their own Spear of Longinus replicas and decide to NOM NOM on his delicious KFC energy wings, then resonate their S2 Engines (along with Eva-01) to trigger this:

Simple enough from here, really: using an ellipsoid calculator to determine the volume of destruction inflicted: 12,342.35*12,342.35*3261.45/2 = 1,037,953,645,605.59 m^3

However, I also have to point out that the Black Moon itself is perfectly intact from the impact (as seen in the images above), despite being a part of the destruction volume. So we'll find out its volume and subtract it away from the total:

Volume of a sphere =

(1.33)*3.14*6875*6875*6875 = 1,357,061,083,984.37 m^3 is the Black Moon's volume.

1,037,953,645,605.59 - 1,357,061,083,984.37 = 319,107,438,378.78 m^3 was destroyed.

Now, we have direct references to melting of surrounding composition occuring in the initial stages of the Anti A.T. Field projection, so a minimum baseline figure of 4300 J/cm^3 can be employed here, but the clean-cut nature of the resulting "crater" on the planet's surface make me consider that the vapourisation energy of granite (25,700 J/cm^3) could also potentially apply here.

High-End (Vapourisation Energy)319,107,438,378.78*1,000,000*25,700 = 8.201061166e+21 joules or 1.96 teratons of TNT equivalent.

Yeah, triple-digit gigaton yields even at the low-end assumption are nothing to sneeze at. However, this is factoring in the power of 10 Anti A.T. Fields, which would be an unusual phenomenon to occur in OBD scenarios unless it the NGE-verse participated as a whole, co-operating between its various factions. What about the power of a single Anti A.T. Field (which would be much more relevant in dicussing individual matchups, particularly with the Mass Production Evangelion "harpies")?

Low-End1372161985028754000000/10 = 1.372161985e+20 joules or 32.79 gigatons of TNT equivalent per individual or Island level (6-C)

High-End8201061166334646000000/10 = 8.201061166e+20 joules or 196.01 gigatons of TNT equivalent per individual or Small Country level (Low 6-B)

Only Sahaquiel comes even close to that level of raw power in the original series, and it requires a suicide run with detonating its entire biomass on surface contact in order to release its strength, so a whole less efficient compared to the potential of Anti A.T. Field projection.

Note that the 12th Angel Leliel is also capable of inverting its A.T. Field (similar to what happens here between the "harpies" and Eva-01: noted by the Nerv staff), but opponents need not worry about such devastating firepower as listed above, as it merely uses its nanometre-thick body as a gateway into a Dirac sea, an endless dimension of antimatter particles that would likely trigger an immediate annihilation reaction with any positively-charged matter unfortunate enough to be absorbed in.

2# - Giant Naked Rei Size

If anyone has watched the second half of the "End of Evangelion" film, you will know fully well of the gigantic, glorious and absolutely horrific splendour of the glistening white Rei/Kaworu/Lilith hybrid, which coaxes Shinji Ikari into deciding the fate of the human race through either accepting or refusing the act of Instrumentality from taking place:

Going to scale it by the second image, as that is when the hybrid is at its largest in the movie.

So, 231+ kilometres in height. Low-end estimate, given that the picture does not show the full body proportions of the LRK Hybrid Being. Unfortunately, I do not know how to scale their size through using the visible curvature of Earth, as I know some other posters have used before in similar calculations: feel free to scale using that method in the comments section below!

As you can see, the hybrid entity is of a truly massive scale, quite literally. However, I was curious as to see if this size could be evaluated in terms of destructive potential.

...then to both my horror and relief, I recall the usage of a calculator in this thread, which is perfect for extrapolating the necessary information (no, not that type of information...).

Rei Ayanami's natural height is 4'9 (145 cm). I've no clue on her other measurements and I have no particular incentive to search for them either.

Anyway, noteworthy feats gleamed from that ultimate perversion of a converter:

The hybrid's weight is 128,965,795,879,422 metric tons.

The energy output of the hybrid's steps are 7.065009441930912e+21 joules (or 1.69 teratons of TNT equivalent); the energy output of a single stomp of the hybrid is 5.91580082876114e+22 joules (or 14.14 teratons of TNT equivalent); the energy output of the hybrid hopping (I dunno why they would do that either, lol) would be 8.679868742943692e+22 joules (or 20.75 teratons of TNT equivalent) (Country level) (6-B)

The hybrid being would produce more energy in a single stomp of their foot than probably the rest of the Angels and Evangelion Units can produce in their combined arsenal (save for Adam, who still has Second Impact to his name).
