Introduction

A while back, I used to write Death Battle fan matches on fandom. However, I have since quit fandom and requested that all of those be deleted. An epiphany hit me as I sat and watched them be lost to time. I could just port those battles over to my blog! This here will essentially be the main area where you can find all the battles I write on my blog on The Codex Wiki. A couple of things, however:

• These battles will be very infrequently updated. As I need to focus on The Codex Wiki's important things such as updating profiles and making profiles for new verses and old. Also obviously anyone else is allowed to write battles on their own blogs. If it gets to a certain point there might be a fanon section for people to do that, but who knows.
• Anyone that knew my old battles from fandom I'll only be porting SOME of them over. This is heavily due to them being very outdated in stats and stuff and me not liking the matchup anymore as I don't consider it good, that I wrote it well or it makes no sense in my eyes.
• I'll probably leave the "Death Battle" logo on matchup pictures but there won't really be killing in them, unless it's actually in-character for the character who wins to kill, I won't write killing. This is because of my one major issue with Death Battle: the killing aspect. It makes no sense to me how a good chunk of characters that outright refuse to kill will not only kill but sometimes crack a joke too while doing it. Also yes, I know that they explained in Death Battle that it's to make both characters at their strongest and have zero morals, but that's not really interesting to me, in my eyes that kind of takes away the character and turns it into two toys smacking into each other. I think what's more interesting is honestly HOW a character will deal with another character with their character flaws and weaknesses in mind, such as refusing to kill being a common one among Western superheroes.
• I'll split these up into "seasons" but I don't think I'll ever have a definitive end to this unless I just decide to quit again one day.

Some Small Info

As not everyone saw my battles as they weren't ever too crazy popular, I guess I'll have to briefly explain it.

I made entirely new co-hosts that aren't Wiz or Boomstick as since I never felt I was writing "Death Battle" itself but something akin to Death Battle, it needed original co-host. They don't have too much of a crazy personality difference but they're Jet and Launch. More laidback co-hosts that have some gimmicks to them, Jet being the smarter of the two and Launch being more sarcastic of the two, but that's about it, I never thought too deeply about their personalities since their main job is just to list off everything in a semi-entertaining manner. If you're wondering where I got the names from, nowhere really. I just thought of the first two names that came to my head and those came to my head. If you'd ever ask me to explain how they look I probably could not do that at all anymore. When I made them nearly 5-6 years ago I could but I barely think about these guys now.

That's all that really needs to be known, now this page is mainly a hub for holding where all of my written fights go. Oh also I don't really call them "Death Battles" I just ask "Who would win"? Since that's more the question to me than who would kill the other.
