Background

Sai Pooh is a young Chinese woman who acts as the oldest member of a martial arts group known as the Kuniang Martial Arts Team, fighting alongside her two sisters, Tong Pooh and Pei Pooh. The three sisters, for many years, lived their lives as infamous Sky Pirates.

One day, however, the mysterious otherworldly entity known as Grandmaster Meio appeared on Earth, alongside his mechanical army. Sai Pooh and her sisters came face-to-face with one of these machines, the Flying Battleship Balrog, which easily overpowered them.

Lost in the world, the three sisters decided to instead become bounty hunters. When Grandmaster Meio put up a bounty on the head of Strider Hiryu, the Kuniang Team took up the challenge and tracked him down.

Led by Tong, the sisters piloted the Sky Thunder Mk-II in pursuit of Hiryu, who boarded the ship and attempted to take it down. Hiryu slashed his way through the entire airship’s crew, and finally made it to the sisters themselves. After a difficult fight, Hiryu defeated Sai Pooh and her sisters. After their defeat, the Pooh sisters vanished off the face of the planet.

Two thousand years passed, and the Pooh sisters hadn’t been seen since their defeat aboard the Sky Thunder Mk-II. However, once Grandmaster Meio was released from his seal, the sisters mysteriously reemerged as well.

Reclaiming their titles as ruthless assassins, the Pooh sisters joined with the Chinese Mafia’s terrorist attack on Neo Hong Kong City. Once again, however, they were pitted against Hiryu. After yet another hard-fought battle, Hiryu defeated the three once again. Sai Pooh and her sisters’ further whereabouts are unknown.
