==Background==
'''Abstract Existence''' is the ability for the user to embody or become the personification of an Abstract Concept. By doing so, the User gain a multitude of abilities and becomes bound to the Concept they personify in some fashion. The level of power the Abstract can have over their concept varies on the character.
'''Abstract Existence''' is the ability for the user to embody or become the personification of an abstraction. The result of this depends on the verse. Still, normally it makes the character very hard to kill or interact with as they represent or embody a concept and thus will usually require means beyond physical ones to interact with them. Among these is the ability to be nearly impervious to attacks that cannot harm conceptual beings or affect beings on a conceptual level. The Ultimate Ultimates (Marvel Comics) are the Abstract Representation of each variation of the Multiverse.

Background

Abstract Existence is the ability for the user to embody or become the personification of an abstraction. The result of this depends on the verse. Still, normally it makes the character very hard to kill or interact with as they represent or embody a concept and thus will usually require means beyond physical ones to interact with them. The level of power the Abstract can have over their abstraction varies greatly.

Different Abstractions

While many normally link Abstract Existence to merely a conceptual embodiment, abstract does not only refer to concept. Abstract is something existing as an idea, feeling, or quality, not as a material object. Thus there are various levels of abstraction one can have.

Information

Beings that are pure information itself, normally for characters like this, one would need Information Manipulation to interact with them.

Idea

While similar to concepts, they are normally slightly different in fictional verses. With ideas mainly being a mental construct or existence from the mind, making them something that needs to be affected with Mind Manipulation.

Conceptual

Conceptually embodying certain aspects or being the very concept of something.

Principle

Embodying the fundamental principles or being the very fundamental principles.

Physical

The being themself is physical but embodies an abstraction.

Types

Type 1: Absolute Abstraction: The user and the abstraction are the same, with the destruction of the user coinciding with the destruction of the abstraction.

  • Users:

Type 2: Primordial Source: The User at this level is the Source and/or Wellspring of all which it represents and thus, it is impossible to physically destroy the being without harming them on an abstract level. The User does not need an Avatar to exist.

  • Users:

Type 3: Infinite Manifestation: The User embodies an abstraction and can be resurrected or regenerated infinitely due to their connection with their concept, however, the User is still a physical being and can still be affected by Non-Conceptual attacks.

  • Users:

Type 4: Relational Abstraction: The User is an embodiment of abstraction, however, to destroy either does not require the destruction of both. These Users do not have a reliance on the abstraction to survive or regenerate, but due to their relationship with the abstraction, they gain abilities under the abstraction.

Note

For listing the types for abstract existence users, it should list the name of the type along with the abstraction they are embodying, if none are given for the abstraction, then the type name alone is fine.

Limitations

  • Abstract entities recurrently strictly embody a concept, principle, thought, or idea up to a certain level of reality.
