Background
Reality Seperation is the ability to be beyond/outside of various things. This ranges greatly depending on the cosmology, reality, or place they reside in that's defined as "outside". It should be noted that simply going to a realm that's outside of reality isn't the same as the ability to transfer yourself or exist outside of reality.
Types
Type 1: Spatiolock: User exists outside of space, which makes them immune to physical attacks and all spatial-based powers. They are still affected by any temporal-based power but are contextually immune to any spatial-based attack.
- Examples: Ramirez (Skies of Arcadia)
Type 2: Chronolock: The user exists outside of time, which makes them immune to its effects and all that is caused by it. This can render the user ageless as a result. Since the user's body is not affected by time, they do not expend energy, and therefore neither need to eat nor sleep. Because time does not flow for the user, any diseases also do not progress, thus effectively rendering the user immune to disease symptoms and damage. They may also exhibit regenerative capabilities as a result of their temporal lock, as their bodies will always revert to the point in time in which they were not injured. The user may be locked into a specific point in their time and will always regress to that particular point in time, no matter how much of it passes.
- Examples: Porky Minch (Earthbound), Marty McFly (Back to the Future), Bobby Barrows (Clock Tower), Future Warrior (Dragon Ball Xenoverse)
Type 3: Spatio-Temporal Lock: User exists outside of time and space and as such are immune to just about anything that would affect or harm them [under space-time]: if time should stop then the user would not be affected. If reality changed [on a temporal level], the user would remember both the previous and know the differences between the old to the new. If the area around the user explodes or the planet which they are on vanishes or does not exist anymore the user is not affected since they do not exist inside space.
- Examples: Yuri Honjo (Tenkuu Shinpan), Catherine (Catherine)
Type 4: True Reality Separation: User exists outside all of reality, and as such are immune to just about anything that would affect or harm them, whether it's any changes or halts made to space, time or reality; any potential changes made will be rectified and restored and regenerated to its original state. Any changes to the reality will be noticed by the user, aware of the differences between the original and any changes.
- Examples: W. D. Gaster (Undertale), Alucard (Hellsing), Lavos (Chrono)
Possible Limitations
- Character may not be able to interact with reality due to existing outside of it.
- Can be countered by a user with a higher level of Omnipresence.
- Specific Personal Nonexistence users would be able to affect them.
