Background

Regeneration is the ability to recover from injury at a quicker rate. At what level this works at varies depending on the User, however, it varies from merely accelerated healing from Normal wounds to regenerating from being completely erased from all analogues of existence and beyond.

Types

  • Low: The ability to recover from minor injuries such as cuts and bruises at an accelerated rate in comparison to normal recovery rate.

Users: Nick Ramos (Dead Rising), Red Bulborb (Pikmin)

  • Mid-Low: The User can heal deep cuts and wounds that would leave deep scars and burning. In mechanical beings, this would be recovering dents dealt to the hull.

Users: Steve and Alex (Minecraft)

  • High-Low: The User can regenerate and recover fingers, toes and ears as well as minor internal damage. They can also recover lost limbs and organs that aren't fatal damage. For mechanical beings, this would be regenerating some interior damage such as wires and pipes.

Users: Steven Universe (Steven Universe)

  • Low-Mid: The User can regenerate and as well as recover fatal injuries and from disembowelment and discretion. For mechanical beings this would be regenerating extensive internal damage.

Users:

  • Mid: The User can recover from damage dealt to complex organs such as the Brain. For mechanical beings, this would be recovering integral parts such as the Engine.

Users: Olimar (Pikmin)

  • High-Mid: The User can recover and regenerate from being reduced to pieces and small parts of their body, such as a severed head, finger or similar article.

Users: Dipper Pines (Gravity Falls)

  • Low-High: The User can regenerate and recover from being reduced to a liquid, such as blood.

Users: Mickey Mouse (2013), SCP-999 (SCP Foundation)

  • Mid-High: The User can regenerate from being vaporized and similar levels of destruction.

Users: GIR (Invader Zim)

  • High: The User can regenerate from being de-atomized (reduced to Atoms) or less.

Users:

  • Low-Godly: The User can recover from the total destruction of their physical body and regenerate from a nonphysical aspect of themselves such as the Soul or Mind[1].

Users: Inkling (Splatoon), Skid and Pump (Spooky Month)

  • Mid-Godly: The User can regenerate and recover from their entire existence getting erased including the non physical aspects getting erased.

Users: Undyne (Undertale)

  • High-Godly: The user can regenerate and recover from every aspect of their existence throughout all of time and space or reality.

Users: Chara (Undertale), Chowder (Chowder)

  • True-Godly: The user can regenerate and recover from their existence being erased on a scale beyond all space-time.

Users: Lavos (Chrono), YHVH (Megami Tensei)

Notes

High-Godly regeneration requires complete proof that one's entire aspect of existence is gone, the simplest way to show this is in verses where when the character is erased, they are gone from all points in time or reality itself is erased with them. For one that's erased through Concept Manipulation to get this ability, they would need to have no existence at any point in time from the past, present, or future. An example of this is Yggdrasil from Digimon coming back from all delete which erases the entire Digital World in which Yggdrasil embodies and The Cosmic Imagination who can regenerate from it's entire infinite multiverse being conceptually erased by the Reader and it coming back.

True-Godly regeneration while it's normally limited to those within a Tier 1 cosmology, does not automatically have tier 1s get it. Normally it's regenerating from being erased in a realm qualitatively beyond time and space with the realm itself being aspatial and atemporal.
