Early Life
Radio Gaga Incident
The old woman would offer Joseph 20,000 Yen an hour to be her local guide of Morioh and to carry her heavy camera equipment. Joseph would decline the offer as he still had a date with his girlfriend. While talking with the woman Joseph would see a photograph of an orchard in her hand. Joseph would explain to the woman that this orchard is the location of the Radio Gaga Incident where a woman mysteriously disappeared. Joseph's girlfriend would then arrive at the station and Joseph would realize his wallet had been stolen by the very thief who had bumped into him earlier which forced him to cannel his date and take up the woman's job offer. After taking up the job the woman would introduce herself as Lucy Steel, a woman working for the Speedwagon Foundation specializing in botany and geomorphology. Joseph would question why Lucy was investigating the crime scene where Lucy would explain that she has a mission to fill out given to her by God. Joseph would then introduce himself as Fumi and the two would set off to the orchard. Joseph, Lucy, and Lucy's driver would arrive at the orchard and would set up their equipment. While Lucy was looking at the Higashikata mansion with a telescope, Joseph would notice a dead bird on the ground. Soon after Lucy's driver would begin to attack strangely which began to freak out Joseph, as he was acting just like the woman who went missing. The driver would bend over a guard rail and take off his clothing in which Joseph reacted by calling out for Lucy. A truck would drive pass Lucy's driver where he would vanish in front of the two. Joseph would inspect the drivers clothing only to find a served hand causing him to beg Lucy to leave the orchard for her safety. Lucy however would explain that she came looking for a plant known was the Locacaca and that it had being growing on the land that they where on with Lucy believing it was somehow connected to the Devil's Palm in America. Soon after Lucy would begin acting like the driver before approaching the guard rail where it would try to pull her inside it's gaps. Joseph realizing the danger Lucy was in would pull her away from the moving railing. Once Lucy was pulled out the mutilated body of Lucy's driver would be revealed. Lucy would begin apologize to Joseph for putting him into a dangerous situation, she would also explain that the railing was likely some type of animal guarding the Locacaca plant. Lucy would then start to cough up blood prompting Joseph to drag her back to the car, however the mutilated body of the driver would pull them back to the railing, being controlled by the railing itself. In order to protect Lucy Joseph would allow himself to get pulled by the railing allowing Lucy to escape. The railing would rip off Joseph's shirt while pulling him revealing a star shaped birthmark on his shoulder. Lucy would realize that Joseph was a descendant to Johnny Joestar making him connected to her mission. Lucy would tell Joseph to start the car engine knowing that because he is a Joestar he should have a Stand. Joseph would throw his show at the objects in the car's trunk causing them to fly out of the trunk. Joseph would then use his Stand to grab the wire of a fan and then connect it to car allowing him to control the car. Joseph would control the car and drive it into the railing, Joseph would then pummel the railing knocking it off a cliff and saving himself. Joseph would then pick up Lucy and carry her over to the nearest town. While being carried Lucy would ask Joseph for his real name in which Joseph would comply, Joseph would also give Lucy his backstory while explaining his name. Later Life

The less air a Stand user has the weaker their Stand becomes. If a Stand user becomes unconscious their Stand will deactivate. Stands that imbue themselves into objects, take the shape of an item, or merge with a user’s body can be seen by normal humans. Stands are tied to the mental abilities of the user, with Stands becoming weaker if the user's mental abilities are weakened. Stands require the spirit to fight in order to be used or else the Stand will harm it's user making them sick with a deadly fever.
