Immutable Will

Background

Immutable Will is the ability to keep one's personality and state of being even after receiving blessings, amplifications, powers, or enlightenments that should change their personality and state of being. An example of this would be a person obtaining complete Omniscience, yet still adhereing to their goals or ideologies, even though as an omniscient they already know everything that's objectively correct and what will happen and can happen. Another example is the idea of a mythical fruit, said fruit is able to power one up to a state beyond any human, though the drawback is they lose their mind in the process and turn into a mindless killer, users of this ability would be able to receive the power up without the side effects. As the name suggests, this is a far more potent version of Sheer Will, while sheer will can reach supernatural levels of willpower, immutable will ranges from supernatural levels of willpower to cosmic levels of willpower.

Users

• Nahobino (Shin Megami Tensei V): As the Nahobino ascends the throne of creation essentially becoming a being similar to YHVH, yet regardless of this he still holds to the goal of any path he's chosen, whether that be a world with a myriad of gods, a world where law rules, or a world cut from the cycle of mandala where humans are truly free.

• Saitama (One Punch Man): In One Punch Man, all humans are placed with a limiter and too much power in them will transform them into a mindless monster, however Saitama is still perfectly human despite being the strongest character in the series who outright broke his limiter.

• Majora's Mask Link (Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask: Link wears the mask of the Fierce Deity, a mask with the same evil powers as Majora, yet even with this mask Link is still a hero willing to save the land from Termina, not being corrupted by the evils of the mask.

• Ness (MOTHER 2): Ness touches the truth of the universe and gains the ultimate intelligence, where he learns his destiny as being the universe, yet he still holds his regular personality, being a kind-hearted 12 year old boy.

• Son Goku (Dragon Ball): Initially when receiving the Super Saiyan tranformation he gave into the rage of the Super Saiyan, though after training with it, he was able to turn Super Saiyan without any rage behind him.
