Introduction
Emotional Empowerment is the ability to gain strength or abilities from different emotions.
User becomes stronger, faster, more durable, etc. through anger, sadness, joy, or other emotions; whether their own or others, possibly unlocking abilities related to the affinity and enhancing their existing powers. Some users may be able to draw sustenance from the anger or even slow or stop aging.
Example Applications
- Rage Empowerment: The ability to gain strength or abilities from pure rage, anger, or hatred.
- Sadness Empowerment: The ability to gain strength or abilities from sadness, crying, or depression.
- Examples: Omori, King Knight
- Joy Empowerment: The ability to gain strength or abilities from joyfulness, happiness, etcetera.
- Examples: Mii (Miitopia), Sweetheart (Omori)
- Love Empowerment: The ability to gain strength or abilities from love, love for someone or something, etcetera.
- Example: Mario & Luigi, Ramona Flowers, Sailor Moon, and Elsa (Frozen)
- Fear Empowerment: The ability to gain strength or abilities from fear, terror, etcetera.
- Examples: Devils from Chainsaw Man
- Friendship Empowerment: The ability to gain strength or abilities from one's friendship, bonds, ectera.
- Examples: Sora (Kingdom Hearts), Characters from Megami Tensei, Various series' from Shonen Jump
Possible Limitations
- Application may be uncontrollable
- May be not possible to activate it at will
- May be limited by the amount of anger they can harness.
- May lose control when angered, causing harm to even allies.
- May snap out only by outside forces or lengthy periods of time in peaceful environments.
- May be difficult to snap out of rage-filled trance.
