Background

Homelander is the main antagonist of the Amazon series The Boys. He's the world's most powerful and popular Superhero.

While the public has been told that Homelander was raised in a regular household with very loving parents, however the truth is much farther than the truth. In reality he was injected with Compound V as an infant and was raised inside a lab. He didn't have any love as a child as every scientist feared him and used him as a lab rat. For his entire childhood he was taught to be as American as possible to suit with his brand.

In his adulthood he puts on the mask of being a Superman-esque paragon that treats everyone politely, all so that everyone could love him. However, behind closed doors he has committed untold amount of crimes including murder and the rape of Becca Butcher, the wife of Billy Butcher.
