Background

Bestowal is the supernatural ability to grant one something they previously did not have through supernatural means. A popular case is a chosen one being granted new abilities to help them on their quest or a weapon/item to help them through an area.

Applications

Power Bestowal

Power Bestowal is the ability to grant other skills or even new forms, although they are usually not superior to those of the donor. Note that giving one power to another does not mean that they can give themselves that same power; it should be clarified that this capability can also confer capacity to the user. Sometimes he is considered blessed by a deity or a higher being.

Item Bestowal

Item Bestowal is the ability to give one an item without even needing to touch the person or be near them.

Possible Uses

• Item Swapping: Users can swap items they have with another user, allowing them to transfer bad or cursed items they have onto another.

• Item Teleportation: The user can teleport the item or object anywhere on the user, which could allow them to negate durability.

• Durability Negation: The user can bestow an item onto one that deals damage to them, ignoring their durability.

Mind Bestowal

Mind Bestowal is the ability to bestow upon one a mind. Unlike Necromancy, this ability gives a being that lacked a mind, a mind to provide them with awareness and consciousness, this does not need to only be for the undead either.

Soul Bestowal

Soul Bestowal is the ability to bestow upon one a soul. Like Mind Bestowal, soul bestowal gives a being that previously lacked a soul, a soul to provide them with emotions, feelings, and more.
