Background

Kid Icarus (光神話　パルテナの鏡 Hikari Shinwa: Parutena no Kagami, "Light Myth: Palutena's Mirror") is a video game released on the Famicom Disk System in December 1986 in Japan, and on the Nintendo Entertainment System in February 1987 in North America and Europe. It features Pit, the main protagonist of the series, on his quest to defeat Medusa and restore peace to Angel Land.

The original game spawned two sequels; Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters on the Game Boy in 1991 and, the most recent game to date, Kid Icarus Uprising released on the Nintendo 3DS handheld system in 2012. The series has yet to see a new game.

Power of the Verse

The verse is moderately powerful with most of the high-tier characters, as of Uprising, peaking at Country level and low to mid-tiers sitting at Island level.

The verses top-tier however, Dyntos, is far more power with an extremely casual Universal+ level feat and is directly stated to be far stronger than the likes of Hades and Palutena.

The verse also has quite a few hax with most of the more minor characters having Divine Protection and Immortality from the gods, various Status Effects, Durability Negation, etcetera.
