Background

Gogo Matsumoto (ゴゴー松本, Gogō Matsumoto) is the central protagonist of PUNCH PUNCH FOREVER!. At 11 years old, she is a gifted human martial artist who participates in battles against demons within the Infinite Tournament. She is the daughter of Mama Matsumoto and Papa Matsumoto, the younger half-sister of Nono Matsumoto, and the owner of her pet, Coolfrog.

  • It is possible that he may also have been inspired by the character Son Goku from the anime and manga Dragon Ball. Especially when Goku was a child in the 1986 anime. As she carries the same martial arts skill while also being an unaware idiot.
• Although Gogo is the protagonist, she was the second character to be created for the series, the first being Nono Matsumoto.
• When Gogo refers to herself, she uses the term "boku", which is a formal Japanese masculine term for.
  • Although it is normally used by people of the male gender, there are currently some women who use the term, becoming a normality to refer to both genders. Along with this, it is normally used by tomboys too.
