Background

Pressure points are a concept in many Eastern martial arts, referring to special parts of the body that, when struck, can cause intense pain, paralysis, and potentially even death, among many other possible effects, some of which are more beneficial.

• Son Goku (Dragon Ball): Goku during his martial arts training learned how to strike a pressure point through a neck chop to instantly knock an opponent out.
• Anko Uguisu (Call of the Night): Anko can strike pressure points that even harm vampires who are far above her in strength.
• Rika Honjo (Tenkuu Shinpan): By using his processing power to detect a target's blood flow and action potential, Rika can accurately knock them unconscious.
