Background

Michael "Mike" Munroe is one of the eight main protagonists and a playable character in Until Dawn. Good looking, smooth as silk, and silver-tongued, he is the resident ladykiller. He's had more girlfriends than he's had hot dinners, which can cause a few problems when a few of them are in his immediate circle of friends. Mike is a man of action. He's always the first to volunteer, the first to make a suggestion. With a narcissistic streak, there's no denying that he likes the attention that comes with being the man who stands up and can get things done.

Altough he does feel remorse for doing it as it led to her and Beth's disappearance. depening on the player's choice he can act like an ass to his girlfriend jesse, shoot emily if he belives she's infected etcetera) to Chaotic Good (Depending on player choice, Mike can instead become a heroic person willing to give his life to protect his friends)

Equipment

• Hunting Rifel: The Hunting Rifle is a weapon in Until Dawn. It appears in Chapter 3 at the cabin. Mike may find the rifle in its case and can either show it to Jessica or scare her with it. In Chapter 4, Mike uses it to assist in the rescue of Jessica, holding it over his back and using the scope to search out her location.

• Revolver: The Revolver is a weapon in Until Dawn. It is found by Mike in Chapter 5 in the Sanatorium chapel, while looking for The Stranger. He uses the revolver to shoot locks off in the Sanatorium. The revolver appears again in Chapter 8, when The Stranger arrives at the lodge to inform the group about the Wendigos. Thinking the visitor might be a threat, Mike uses the revolver to point at the door while Chris opens the door. If Mike and Chris' relationship is high enough, Chris may be able to use the revolver if he chooses to demand for it.

• Machete: The Machete is a handheld weapon that appears in Until Dawn. It is found, and secondly used by Mike while journeying around the Sanatorium, and was first used by The Stranger, as seen in the Prologue and in other chapters where he stalks the protagonists throughout the game.

• Sawed-Off Shotgun: The Sawed-Off Shotgun is a weapon that appears in Until Dawn. The sawed-off shotgun is a weapon found by Mike in Chapter 9 in the Chapel, while he's searching for Josh. Mike uses the shotgun to defend himself against the Wendigos in the Sanatorium.

• Lighter: Mike grabs a lighter from the guest cabin in Chapter 3, which he will later use to burn Sam's ropes if she had been captured by The Psycho in Chapter 7, but only if he does not have a usable machete anymore. He may use it during the final showdown if he is struck by the Wendigo (Hannah), and Sam was unable to flip the light switch due to her death by impalement in the stomach. This will cause the explosion in the lodge.
