the real life game that's playing, even when you're not

Background

Animal Crossing is a social simulation video game series developed and published by Nintendo and created by Katsuya Eguchi and Hisashi Nogami. In Animal Crossing, the player character is a human who lives in a village inhabited by various anthropomorphic animals, carrying out various activities such as fishing, bug catching, and fossil hunting. The series is notable for its open-ended gameplay and extensive use of the video game console's internal clock and calendar to simulate real passage of time.

Since its initial release in 2001, five Animal Crossing games have been released worldwide, one each for the Nintendo 64/iQue Player (enhanced and reissued for the GameCube), Nintendo DS, Wii, Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Switch. The series has been both critically and commercially successful and has sold over 60 million units worldwide. Three spin-off games have also been released: Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer for Nintendo 3DS, Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival for Wii U, and Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp for mobile devices.

Power of the Verse

The verse is relativelly weak and passive, The cast are all Wall level scaling to Villager who can easily overpower a Great white shark among other sharks, bovine villagers who can trample watchtowers and Strong and Fearless villagers who can destroy large rocks in terms of speed they are peak human being able to somewhat outrun Japanese giant hornet and in terms of hax the verse has Dimensional Storage, Cartoon Physics and Transmutation.

Terms

  • Pocket: The pocket is what the player (along with other villagers) uses to carry around items around in the entire Animal Crossing series along them to carry large items such as trees or sharks without any issue
  • Reset: A canon element of the game that happens when Villager forgets to save the game which thus causes the things they've done to be undone
