Background
Time Manipulation is the ability to affect Time. This allows the user to go forward or backward in time, or allows them to Stop Time altogether.
The ability varies depending on the verse it's used as such, Stopping Time may not affect the entire verse when it does so, it may be set to a limited range, or has a limited duration.
Note that just because time slows down for the user when moving, doesn't equate to Time Manipulation, and should be shown that it is an ability and not a side-effect of something else, such as speed or weight.
Possible Applications
- Time Rewind/Time Reset: The user can rewind time a few seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months and/or years into the past, able to alter the past and thus change the future.
- Users: Chara, Frisk, The Anomaly, and Flowey (Undertale), Time Pieces (A Hat in Time)
- Time Stop: Time Stop is the ability to stop time and move normally, an often specialized variation of Time Manipulation. In stopped time, characters can attack still opponents or organize and dodge attacks. Characters can stop the time only a few seconds or much longer. In some cases, they can also stop the time indefinitely. Often, characters who can stop the time can also move in the stopped time of others.
- Causality Manipulation: With Causality Manipulation, the user can bend traditional cause and effect to his will for a multitude of purposes. Causality Manipulation ensures that a character is never born, negates everything that a character has done, renders certain events totally impossible, creates massive supernovas, erases an opponent from existence, and much more. This ability allows the user to do almost anything he wants by making the desired effect happen by rewriting and manipulating the causality to give him a tactical advantage over his opponent. At a particular level of mastery, a character can control the cause and effect of the entire universe, essentially becoming a divine figure. Causality Manipulation is also a sub-ability of Fate Manipulation, as controlling cause and effect is alternatively controlling fate of a person.
- Users:
- Past Manipulation: The user can selectively alter the past of a target (whether living, object, place, etcetera) and determine when, where, what, how, or even why something happened in the past.
- Users:
- Future Manipulation: Users can manipulate the future, allowing them to change the outcome of any event or the fate of any person or object at will. Akin to Causality Manipulation and Reality Warping, users can achieve basically anything they desire due to the limitless potential of the future, like causing even the most unlikely of scenarios to take place or changing the properties of anything in the future. In battle, this would make users practically invincible, as anything their opponent does can be controlled by the user, making defeat impossible.

Limitations
- Types of Acausality renders this ability useless.
- Applications may require knowledge of the implications.
- May be limited in the area of effect as it may be unable to affect anything major but only some parts of reality or their opponent.
Note
Unless otherwise indicated or indicated to users, or extended to areas beyond the universe, manipulating time is assumed to be Universal in range under the principle of affecting the flow of time itself in the universe.
