Background
Multiple Jumps, also referred to as Double Jumping or Midair Jumping, is the ability to perform additional jumps while in midair. This defies the typical limitations of physical movement, allowing users to leap beyond their initial jump. Depending on the user, the number of midair jumps may be limited to one or extend to an indefinite amount.
Possible Applications
- Law Manipulation/Physics Manipulation: By performing midair jumps, users may bypass or manipulate the physical laws that normally govern gravity and motion.
- Toon Force: Often depicted in a cartoonish context, midair jumping can function as a comedic or exaggerated gag.
- Flight: If a user can perform an unlimited number of jumps, they may effectively simulate or achieve flight.
Possible Limitations
- The number of midair jumps is often restricted, with many users capable of only one or a few additional leaps.
- May require specific conditions, such as a certain amount of energy, momentum, or external factors, to perform successfully.
Users
- Hat Kid (A Hat in Time)
- Jak (Jak and Daxter)
- Characters from Super Smash Bros.
