Introduction
Soullessness is a state where one possesses no soul or spiritual tether to the world, or their soul is not within their body. This can essentially make the user emotionless and immortal, as a person needs a soul to have a degree of mortality in the first place. A soulless person does normally not possess emotions or feelings to cloud their ambition making them excellent killers and assassins and they cannot be tracked in mystical ways due to a lack of spiritual essence. Though this is not always the case. As they are soulless they have a huge resistance to the ability Metaphysics Manipulation, and more specifically the Soul Manipulation & Spirit Manipulation part of it, though depending on a series they could apply to other categories of metaphysics too. Some forms of it can also gain a resistance to Empathic Manipulation as they lack emotions to manipulate.
Users
- Flowey (Undertale): Flowey lacks a SOUL and has no emotions, becoming a sociopathic killer trying to goad Frisk into killing everyone.
- The Knight (Hollow Knight): The Knight as a child of the void, lacks a soul of his own, instead having a shade that acts as an echo of his past.
- Hat Kid (A Hat in Time): For a time in Chapter 3, Hat Kid fully loses her soul as it's taken by The Snatcher, making her soulless.
