Intelligence: Above Average (Nobunaga is fairly analytical, as seen when he explained to Machi why he believed Kurapika was acting alone. He is a world-class Nen user and is exceptionally knowledgeable about Nen and its various applications. Nobunaga was also a founding member of the Troupe, indicating he has many years of experience in combat)

Standard Tactics: Nobunaga will use his En to detect and feel anything that enters so that they will get instantly attacked by his sword. He will otherwise fight normally with his skill in swordsmanship and speed.

Weaknesses: Can let his emotions get the better him. Zetsu involves keeping one's aura exclusively in the body, it makes a Nen user more vulnerable to physical and Nen attacks, because one doesn't have any aura on the outside of one's body to protect oneself.

Notable Attacks/Techniques: 

Nen: Nen is a technique that allows a living being to use and manipulate their own life energy which one can craft a great variety of para-psychological abilities. Nobunaga is an Enhancer and can use the basic and advanced techniques of Nen. While he lacks any abilities, he specializes in En.

• Master Swordsman: Nobunaga is very skilled in the use of edge weapon. His blade of choice is a long katana.
• Iaidō Master: Nobunaga stated that anyone who entered his attack range would be instantly killed. He is skilled in the art of Iaidō, which is a set of controlled movements of drawing the sword from its scabbard, striking or cutting an opponent, removing blood from the blade, and then replacing the sword in the scabbard, as stated by Killua. He employs his kenjutsu both standing still (e.g. when watching over Killua and Gon) and moving (for example when he decapitated Squala).
