==Background==
'''Vorinclex''', called '''The Voice of Hunger''', is the Green-aligned praetor of New Phyrexia.
'''Jin-Gitaxias''' is the blue-aligned praetor of New Phyrexia. His enormous body is made of chrome, with clawed arms and a curved spine. Exposed ribs and pointed vertebrae are displayed like metalwork. His face and mouth are monstrous and bird-like, with too many sharp points and long, flat teeth. His voice sounds like metal grating against metal.

Vorinclex stands twelve feet or more and his body is a raw pinkish-red color. Across his shoulders he has a ruff of patchy fur in a dozen different hues swirled together. Vorinclex's long and powerful arms end in horrible, curving talons and two additional spindly arms extend from his chest. His bone-colored head is a skull-like face flanked by razor tusks and broad, spined antlers.
Obsessed with perfecting Phyrexia to its highest potential, he is the author of a revisionist philosophy known as "Great Synthesis", which takes some liberties with Phyrexia's core religious philosophy as to make progress easier. For instance, he sees the original Father of Machines as ultimately imperfect (the same applied to the later leader), and discards the term "evolution" when applied to Phyrexia as he feels it is an inappropriate term to describe what is really going on (as well as to distinguish his views of perfection from those of Vorinclex and Glissa).

A social Darwinist, he wishes to make New Phyrexia a place hostile to sentience, which he despises, and based solely on the roles of predator and prey, of which only the strongest will survive.
Living in what was once the Lumengrid, he tends a huge variety of newts that grow in vats attached to nearly every place in the facilities. His interest in perfection and natural curiosity lead him to explore the occult, and it is implied he can make use of White and Black mana. Using Sheoldred's necromantic prophetic visions, he has the access to many creature designs he can turn his newts into via his knowledge on various forms of magic.

In spite of his general aversion to intelligence, he is capable of strategic thought, like when he herded Kaya to counter her evasion tactics or when he blackmailed Tibalt to do his bidding.
He apparently hates Vorinclex and considered Karn too incompetent to rule. He once captured Tezzeret, and brought him before Karn. Although Elesh Norn is aware of his machinations, Jin-Gitaxias appears to keep an at least neutral relationship towards her for the moment.

Vorinclex created new varieties of predators to infest the Tangle, and compleated many elves — Glissa among them — and turned them into predatory creatures. Beyond this, however, he didn't care for anything else except for his next meal and, unlike the other praetors who plotted against each other and Karn, Vorinclex appeared to be satisfied. Being the most content of the praetors, Elesh Norn was able to manipulate him easily once she took over New Phyrexia.
At some point, Jin-Gitaxias found a way to the plane of Kamigawa. There, he began working with the Hyozan Reckoners and the Futurist Tameshi in the Towashi Undercity. Through his experiments on kami in Kamigawa, he learned how to compleat a planeswalker without removing their soul, which he put into practice by compleating Tamiyo. In response, the Wanderer cut him in two, but his body was recovered by Tezzeret and rebuilt on New Phyrexia.

At some point, Vorinclex managed to enter the plane of Kaldheim. Whatever process he undertook destroyed his organic components, leaving a corpse of metal and bone; a curious stag sniffed it, allowing him to rebuild himself. With the aim of undermining or taking over the plane, he ambushed the planeswalker Tibalt and infected him, forcing him to cause "a distraction" in exchange for an antidote, much to the sadistic pain mage's delight as he had already been planning to cause some chaos on Kaldheim anyway. He stalked the woods of Bretagard where he compleated people and animals until Kaya and the Omenseekers fought him. The god Alrund revealed himself, too disgusted at Vorinclex, and the praetor fled, melting into some oil-suffused metal and escaping, possibly to another of Kaldheim's realms.

In the cover of the chaos Tibalt brought to Kaldheim, Vorinclex invaded the sanctum of Esika and mauled her to near death. Taking a tyrite sample, he concluded his mission, and a portal to New Phyrexia opened, welcoming him once more.

MtG Profilez.

Sarulf is no ordinary animal, he is one of the Cosmos Monsters. Created at the birth of the world, dwelling in the void between the realms. He would be a mighty foe to face indeed—but I wouldn't worry, it isn't the way of such beings to lurk and linger in the dark corners of the Aldergard. Were they to come to Bretagard, they would not do so in secret.
