'''Red Pyramid Thing''', more colloquially known as '''Pyramid Head''', is a humanoid monster in the ''Silent Hill'' franchise first appearing in ''Silent Hill 2''. His red helmet and butcher's attire echo the executioners of the town's past, who worshiped the angel of rebirth, Valtiel. He is a manifestation of [[James Sunderland]]'s guilt and desire for punishment, existing to keep him human and help him remember his past actions.

'''[[Alignment]]:''' '''Lawful Evil''' (Pyramid Head is James' self-imposed need to be punished for his crimes and is a perversion of justice itself. He targets James because it's what he's made to do. However, Pyramid Head also exists to keep James human and help him realize that he is guilty, often attacking other monsters to fulfill his role and symbolizing removing visions from James' psyche. His  constant murder of a reincarnating Maria is also his attempt to wake James up from his delusion and force him to remember his past actions. When he hates someone, he doesn’t really hate them because they’re bad, he hates them because they become a obstacle or a hindrance to him or his friends, such as when he condemns the Phantom Troupe for being heartless killers yet grieving for Uvogin, yet he treats Binolt, a serial killer, kindly because he got merit out of him. He’s also selfish and inconsiderate as he does what he wants and doesn’t really care if someone else suffers from it so long as it’s not his friends, such as when he uses Komugi, an innocent girl, as a hostage and threatened her life if Pitou did not comply with what he wanted. Gon abides by his own set of morals and doesn't feel the need to save everyone, always do the right thing, or abide by the laws of society. He is willing to threaten, kill, and attack people, but his logic for doing so falls within his own moral code. Thus, while these things are not just by society's perception of right and wrong, they are perfectly logical and thought out in Gon’s mind and he does not carry any guilt from these actions as they fall inline with what he believes to be right)

'''Standard Tactics:''' Pyramid Head aims to brutalize and maim his opponent with his Great Knife or spear.
'''Standard Tactics:'''

'''Weaknesses:''' His Great Knife significantly impedes his mobility, although this isn't always the case as shown in Book of Memories. If his target accepts their guilt or sin and overcomes it, Pyramid Head will kill himself.
