Background

Penetration Damage is damage done by a pointed weapon, such as a knife or gun shot. This type of damage is typically seen as durability negation due to pointed weapons stretching the impact area and crushing it, weakening the tensile strength enough to easily create an entrance wound area.

Piercing damage varies depending on whether it's based on physically piercing a target, or through supernatural means.
