Background

Candies 'n Curses is a 2D arcade rogue-lite game, featuring chaotic 'sugar-rushed' ghost slaying. Play as Molli Pop as you fend off hordes of adorable ghosts and mischievous bosses all within the cursed walls of a twisted mansion. Power-up with new flashlights and abilities as you level up - and join forces with ghostly pups and other spectral creatures as you work together to purge the mansion of its ghostly residents.

Power of the Verse

The Verse is not physically too powerful, with Humans ranging from Human level to Athlete level while the Monsters are much stronger reaching Wall level of power, however their real power lies whitin their haxs thanks to having accesses to haxs such as Soul Manipulation, Regeneration, One Hit Kill, Deconstruction and Summoning to name a few.

Terms

Heart Point (HP): Heart points are the primary form of health in Candies 'n Curses. These hearts are pink in color and can be earned by maintaining a chain of ten or higher for an extended period of time, by picking up health-restoring or health-additive items in the Vault, or through random drops from defeated ghosts. When Molli is at full health, she cannot pick up drops.

Soul Heart Points (SHP): Soul Heart Points are the second and more flexible kind of health. These hearts are blue in color and do not require any points to be missing in order to be picked up, and can theoretically be stacked infinitely. However, lost Soul Heart Points are not refilled through healing items, revives, or filling the heart meter, as these only effect the Heart Point count.
