Destruction is the opposite of Creation, while creation brings life to things and brings things into existence, destruction is the opposite, causing so much damage to something that it no longer exists. This ability allows the user to absolutely eradicate an object, this goes beyond the regular idea of Attack Potency, and rather is an ability that regularly bypasses durability and causes the target to cease existing. Though like with Creation, it can be used for Attack Potency. Depending on the user, this could be anything and everything from small objects to entire galaxies or universes and possibly even abstract concepts and/or natural forces/laws. While this ability is very similar to Erasure, normally in fictional media destruction and erasure are treated as two separate abilities, such as Dragon Ball Super when Beerus' energy of destruction (hakai) and Zeno's erase abilities are not considered the same thing. One with destruction may also have Irreversible Damage as their destruction ability is treated as unhealable.

Beerus with hakai uses the "energy of desturction" allowing him to completely destroy an object causing it to no longer exist

Explanation

Types

 • Physical Destruction: The power to physically destroy someone or an object, in this state all physical presence of the person or the object is is destroyed from existence. Lower potency users cannot destroy living things but rather inorganic objects or weapons, while high potency users can destroy anything on a physical level, reducing the item or person to absolutely nothing.
 • Meta-Physical Destruction: The power to not only destroy anything physical but also anything incorporeal, destroying the item or person on a metaphysical, leaving no traces of them behind. In this state, all metaphysical presence of the user is gone, higher potency users can destroy all physical presence of the user too with this ability, if they don't destroy the physical presence, the user is essentially without any metaphysical part to them, thus lifeless.
 • Conceptual Destruction: The power to destroy concepts or one's conceptual existence. In this state all forms of what makes the individual them is gone.
 • Spatial-Temporal Destruction: Users can destroy things, not only on a physical and spiritual level, but across Space and Time itself, leaving no traces of them across Time and Space, possibly changing history to suit the change. Doing this can destroy concepts and the fundamental aspects of one's existence, removing the very idea of their existence from reality, meaning they never did exist, never will exist and cannot exist on a conceptual level. Users can even destroy one from the narrative itself, leaving nothing of them on a narrative level. It should be noted both of these are interchangeable.
With darkest spell Moon can make Toffee unable to ever grow back his finger. To the state where even if Toffee regrows his finger it will just wither away.
 • Irreversible Damage: The ability to inflict damage and destruction that cannot be repaired or healed from its destroyed state. The user can inflict damage and destruction that cannot be repaired or healed from its destroyed state. The pain/injuries do not recover from their degraded state and remain in complete decadence after the wounds are given. The degraded alterations a user makes towards their environment also does not recover nor can it be made towards a healed state after the damage is done. Unlike Regeneration Negation where a user is unable to regenerate back, irreversible damage makes it damage unable to heal. Even if the user was to regenerate back the part they lost it would either immedieatly be removed or will no longer work.

Notable Users

 • Beerus (Dragon Ball Super): Beerus is the god of destruction, being the opposite to the Kais who are the gods of creation, due to this he can utilize the energy of destruction, and use abilities such as hakai to destroy someone on such a scale they will no longer exist.
 • Iihiko Shishime (Medaka Box): Any damage that Iihiko deals never heals, smashed things remain smashed, broken things remained broken, torn things remain torn, destroyed things remain destroyed, those who he kill can never return to life and those who can heal no matter the application cannot heal.
