Background

Bubby is a scientist at the Black Mesa Research Facility at the time of the Resonance Cascade in Half-Life VR who becomes a member of the Science Team. He claims to have been born in the facility, having been grown in a tube after several failed attempts. In Act 3, he and Benrey betray Gordon to the US Military, leading to Gordon getting his arm chopped off (and later replaced), and him getting put back in his tube. He is later freed by Gordon, Tommy, and Dr. Coomer, though not after some verbal sparring.

Stated to be stronger than Dr. Coomer and could even knock him out cold, who nearly early bored a hole in a metal wall, punched the top off of a tank while Gordon wasn't watching, and completely destroyed a metal grate with his bare fists . Has access to Pulse Rifles, which can vaporize human bodies)
